Glad to see Insym finally get around to trying Phasmo for the first time. I figured it’d be right up his alley. When I posted this comment the video was titled “Playing Phasmaphobia and Dead Island 2 for the First Time”, so this joke was ruined.

I’ve met folks with mixed reviews on Dead Island, but it’s been one of my favorite franchises. Rip to those that preordered Dead Island 2 before this iteration cuz I don’t think they got their justice with a release that should’ve happened 12+ years ago. . Dead Island 2 is probably what you’d expect and more from the franchise in a good way. Probably one of the best graphics to most games these days. Now if games these days can be less stingy in exclusives and more crossplay we’d probably have a “SLIGHTLY” healthier gaming community. . Also, “Who Do You Voodoo, bitch?!”

I don't know if insym likes this type of games but I was waiting so long for him to do a series of this one, off stream would be better for him to immerse in it

Dead Island 2 is fun af. The story is cheese, so whatever on that. But combat was great

This made me realize how my game sense is high because of years playing all kinds of games, I quickly realized you can breakdown weapons and that lower durability reduces damage while red durability basically does no damage, the intro he kept killing zombies lost asf until the charater said I HAVE TO DO THAT while I did it the moment the little yellow circle showed up, after a few minutes I found out that charge atk how you play cause it stop stuns them and does a lot more damage, quick slashes are for quick weapons you'll keep getting hit if you only use quick atks he never realized that one lol and AL other took him 1 2hrs 😂 + that obvious hit the yellow canister and it will shoot forward and hit all those zombies eating he just charged 3 zombies and blew himself up 😂, no wonder ppl fuck up menus all the time lol no game sense at all while to me it's like what do you mean you don't get this I didn't even realized it could be an issue 😂, with all hand holding gamers nowadays get worse and worse smh

I liked the first one and the second, but with this one... I don't know, I feel absolutely nothing, no vibe, no emotion at all. I tried to connect with the characters, but none of them resonated with me perhaps due to poor writing or design, I don't know. Why did they remove the open world from the first one ? It feels more like a Left 4 Dead than a Dead Island, just moving from point A to point B... Why did they replace the RPG mechanics with this card system ? By the end of the game, every character can have the same build. Is there really a build anymore? I don't know.... Having a unique talent tree for each character is the essence of Dead Island, making each one distinct. I always love your content, but for this game, I can't hit "like"... I just can't, sorry.
