Yeah same I'm addicted to it at the moment when funny enough I was about to quit it a couple of weeks ago because I felt like it was all work. Only when I relaxed and noticed all the little stuff and getting cutscenes and have more and more places and new stuff unlocked it gets me hyped

I didnt realize you could actually cut down trees for an embarrassingly long amount of time (until fall of year 1) and stumps took even longer (spring of year 2) its safe to say I havent gotten very far in this game

Not entirely related but I beat the entirety of the game slime rancher before I figured out there was a map, and that you didn’t have to memorize every location

Stardew Valley is a really relaxing game until Pierre is closed on Wednesdays and oh my god the community center bundles are impossible to finish and everything is chaos and anxiety is at its peak But yeah so fun 10/10 recommend

Ooh it'll be super cool to see you play through stardew valley! You can build relationships up with the villagers and marry some of them, a good number of the storylines are compelling/fun! Also you can mine for materials in the caves soon, that's the only place where there's enemies to my knowledge

Nah theres also a secret forest thats blocked off by a log that you need a steel axe to get to. Slimes spawn there but theres also renewing hardwood stumps, fiddlehead ferns, and the woodskip that you need for the specialty fishing bundle at the community center. Also theres a statue that if you plant the rare seed from the traveling cart and put the fruit from said seed on the statue, you get a stardrop.

I used to be really into this game and I streamed it all the time. I literally had my second monitor with a list of all the things the other people liked as gifts. But then I forgot about it because I got so mad that I accidentally let the seasons change while I had just planted a full farm of goods. So they all died

I always recommend that you name your farm something like “Ur Fucking Farm” because when the villagers talk to you they’ll say soemthing like “how’s Ur Fucking Farm going?” AND ITS AMAZING

It's so relaxing until you get overran by like 8 of those green snake serpents in the mines or you have to have the greatest of finesse to get a lava eel for your community center bundle haha
