His explanation of why he would rather be remembered for the wrong reasons was excellent. Phone calls require energy. I felt that.

I loved how thoughtful and insightful the responses were. There was enough depth for some of them that they could have been their own video, but everything was edited to present each response just concisely enough to be interesting and satisfying before moving to the next question, which was sometimes even more interesting than the previous one. This video was more fascinating and thought-provoking than I expected-nicely done! Now, an idea/challenge for Laura/Brenda and Donna Sue 🙂 I want to see them do this same activity! I think Brenda has grown enough as a character that she would be open to do this with Donna Sue, but I also expect that she might put some walls up and withdraw from some topics while being fairly forthcoming with others. It would be a great opportunity for contrasting professional commentary and work ethic with the career/job-related questions, which would be practical and perhaps educational for us. At the same time, Brenda's verbal and especially non-verbal responses would give us tremendous insight into her as a person, and it's very possible that the video would end with her either mostly letting her guard down or more likely her putting walls even higher (thus allowing more character growth in subsequent videos). I say "more likely" because Laura has been brilliant at crafting a "two steps forward one step back" character progression for Brenda, which is very human, relatable, and truly interesting. It's worth emphasizing that my idea above is a total vote of confidence in Laura's acting skills as she has demonstrated time and again with both Donna Sue and Brenda! It's not easy to convey meaningful nuance like that, but Laura does this so wonderfully and would be excellent with a longer-form video with our two beloved characters!

This was so sweet, but you not knowing who Dr. Dolittle was a surprise. Ha it's a great movie with Eddy Murphy as your dad said. You should watch it with him. He seems a lot if fun!! ❤ I see where you got your smarts from!! ♥️ Have a great Holiday!!

And the Eddie Murphy version is not the original. There's a fifties movie out there with Rex Harrison, I think.

I read a short story once where suddenly overnight all humans could hear the thoughts of animals. Of course, at first, this upset everyone. The livestock industry shut down, zoos were emptied and scientists balked at even using rats in research. But then, after a while, people realized how monotonous animal thoughts were and all resumed as normal.

This is so good, I really enjoyed it. I do think that in order to lose a bad habit that you have to create at least one good habit. At least, that's the only way I can get rid of bad habits.

🤔Well if you were breathing underwater and your Dad could control water. He could channel the water you are breathing in and make you visit him more often!😂 Also if you two think a submarine is to claustrophobic, what do you think the spaceship is going to like, for that week you are in space? Finally my Dr. Dolittle is and will always be Rex Harrison.

I imagine the cramped quarters in space are even worse than on a submarine. Naval submariners are also the best fed branch of the military. The food is space is pretty much the deal breaker. Plus in a submarine you can always rise to the surface if needbe and in space you're SOL if something goes wrong.
