My work place in Australia has some requirements on when do get a doctors note. I just stopped getting them. Here instead of getting a doctors note get instead can fill out a Statutory declaration. I also stopped filling those out years ago. Turns out my manager trusts me and if I ever get asked by the higher ups I will just fill out a stat Dec and hand that over.

I had my pto and sick days merged, it has some benefits and some challenges. Like when they did that i accrue more PTO... well double and 20 hours a months, but when im out it is hard to call in. Reality is i was only supposed to get three weeks pto and 10 days sick, now i get approximately 6.5 weeks of pto
