You can try searching "HDMI to Display Port Converter" on amazon, it doesen't necessarily need to be the same brand, just buy the ones with good reputation (and read the reviews, specially the bad ones), that's all. Same for the cable, amazon, just keep an eye on the version of it's display port, it has to be the same version, both cable and monitor.

I bought an acer predator xb3 monitor acouple days ago and didn't even need those extra cables. Its running at 2160p 60hz but i have mine set to resolution mode on the PS5 settings with HDR turned on for better picture and color on both monitor and console. Currently playing assassin's Creed Valhalla which only runs at 60FPS.

Doesn't work on Predator XB281HK. I have tried with a basic HDMI to DisplayPort. I will give a try and with an active one. Hopefully going to work.

Check the cable I used in my description. It needs to be an active hdmi to dp converter. Meaning it not just a cable or adaptor. But it's a cable that requires it's own power. So these ones take additional power from the ps5 USB port

Do you think I could use this to get the ps5 to run at 4k 120hz? I ask because my monitor does not support HDMI 2.1 and that's the only way to use the new 120 hz mode in Ratchet and Clank Rift in Time. My monitor does have Display Port though. Edit - I'm guessing this particular converter won't work because it's only displayport 1.2

You need to check if the 4k is via the display port. Double check the model details. Mine is an Asus monitor with 4k only via display port and this solution worked for me

The usb connection is need to extra power I believe. So any usb port shoild be ok
