If the rumors of the Horizon TV series are true and it's going to be a prequel about Elisabet Sobeck and project Zero Dawn, it still has the potential to be engaging without Aloy. It's literally the end of the world being consumed by the Faro Machine Plague. Sobeck is Aloy (and vice versa), and the pre-Zero Dawn timeline has tremendous "last stand" battles against the hordes. So, the series can still work and be action packed. Especially, since Elisabet sacrifices herself to protect Zero Dawn to ensure humanity's survival at the end. Also, I would love for SOCOM to make a comeback.

To supplement sonys need for a first person shooter, they should reboot the Resistance franchise as an open world, survival rpg with up to 4 player coop. I think it can be their answer to multiple things at once and the resistance franchise has enough depth in its world to carry that along with the excitement of nostalgia. Resistance 2 was legendary and 3 kinda just suffered from poor timing on release i think.

As much as everyone complained about the Last of Us Part I Remake it strategically hit in just the way they intended. It released just in time for the tv show to entice tv viewers. I think the Horizon Zero Dawn remake is absolutely being teed up to hit when the Horizon series comes out. I equate The Last of Us adaptation & Fallout show as the Superman 78 and Batman 89 of the video game adaptation industry. The North stars that all other adaptations can look to to prove they can work. It’s my hope that Mass Effect can be the Iron Man/MCU juggernaut of game adaptations. It’s so ripe for that, if done well.

If we're talking PS2 games, one game I never hear anybody talk about is Shadow of Rome. That game was class. The stealth levels were proper shite, but the gladatorial battles were sensational.

Just going to clarify that agent venom is not Eddie Brock but instead flash Thompson either way just saying if you're bringing in agent venom you should bring in flash Thompson if you're bringing in regular venom and can't have Harry bring in Eddie Brock. But I would say having flash Thompson might be a good idea because unlike Eddie Brock you would already have a pre-established history of why he's trying to help and why he doesn't exactly like Peter Because he is Peter's bully from high school and he was in the military we can keep all that stuff. And it would give him a reason to want to use the venom symbiote being crippled during war giving him motivation to be venom and have ask sympathise with it

Combat is great but the story has definitely been a miss overall so Venom focused would be great.
