Ali Siddiq is a stand-up comedian, public speaker, and writer out of Houston. Ali’s unique style of stand-up began behind the walls of incarceration, an incubator for interesting experiences and good stories.
People received their first taste of Ali Siddiq when he appeared on HBO's DEF COMEDY JAM and LIVE FROM GOTHAM, and in 2013 he was named Comedy Central's "#1 Comic to Watch". In 2014, Ali impressed comedy enthusiasts by displaying his ability to captivate an audience with his "Mexicans Got On Boots" tale, descriptive storytelling, with over 15 million views, of a prison riot on THIS IS NOT HAPPENING, the first of three appearances. His stories continued with his HALF HOUR special, which premiered on Comedy Central in the fall of 2016. Immediately following the premiere of that special, Comedy Central offered Ali an hour-special where he performed for inmates live in a Texas jail, sending Ali back to where it all started. The hour special, Ali Siddiq: It’s Bigger Than These Bars, premiered in February 2018 on Comedy Central. In 2019, Ali could be seen as a Top 5 finalist on NBC’s BRING THE FUNNY. Most recently, Ali could be seen as a guest on THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE.

Ali's Twitter usually doesn't promote them either when he does it, so you'll only find random clips of them years later.

@@akeemsmith3096 Actually what he said, or strongly inferred, was that Ali was a no-name comedian. He inferred that no one had heard of him and that he wasn't famous enough for Katt to have known who he was. That was a straight up lie and to me was a diss on Ali's talent and overall presence in the industry, 2 things that don't line up. I believe Katt is a bit insecure when it comes to comedians that are funnier than him. Just my 2 cents. Not dissing Katt as he has clearly done well for himself, I just don't find him funny. Ali has the audience in the palm of his hands in every special. The man is extremely gifted and it's only a matter of time before he is offered his own sitcom and becomes a household name

@@danielbrown1724 never said he wasn't good. He said that nobody knew him. Which if you think you'd know that comparatively he's vaguely known. He's one of my favorites and he's a comedian's comedian. Ali said himself that if a comedian doesn't know him he asks why. Especially if they've been doing comedy for over a year. Ali blew up because of Mexicans got on boots and Mitchell. Before that he wasn't too well known. That being said comparatively to Katt Ali is a no-name comedian. Again Ali is in my top 15 of comedians so I'm not dissing him these are just facts. Ali is a great comedian and everyone who knows of him knows that. But to say that he's EXTREMELY well known is like saying everybody knows who Andrew Bogut is. He's an ex-pro player in the NBA and a former champ but he's not Paul George, Steph, Jokic, Embiid, etc. Ali is a monster in stand up but he's not a megastar or anything of the sort. Not saying he shouldn't be I honestly believe he deserves to be more than 80% of ppl that places like Netflix are pushing and if anyone deserves a special it's Ali. Domino Effect is one of the best specials I've ever seen. Both parts and I'm basically drooling waiting on part 3. But come on. Also if you felt like someone was coming at you would you speak highly of them? Especially if you felt like them coming at you was unprovoked? I'm not even saying that Katt was right in the situation but one thing we know is that Katt does being at least 3 other comedians with him everywhere, Red Grant, Lunelle, and Melanie Camacho. This is true all the way back to the first special he shot. So if this was true all the way back when Ali saying their issue started then this all could boil down to it being the club's fault. Again. Not saying or implying that Ali is lying at all. None of us were there but with what Katt said that part is undeniable fact. He brings basically the whole show with him. Idk how Ali would've fit it this was the case at that time. Now don't get me wrong Katt was being very disrespectful in how he went about saying that Ali is lesser known but being disrespectful does not negate a fact. And I think that him and Ali should have that boxing match lol.
