Absolutely. Sparing someone as evil and destructive as green goblin when he's down is actually the irresponsible move despite all of spider man's "great power comes great responsibility" stuff. Look at how many more people die because he doesn't just stop villains in their tracks.

I think that's where they are going, plus the possibility to play more characters comes in package with more bosses. I think they will pull something crazy like multiple villains bonded with carnage having like monster ock, red goblin and others

Peter and Venom's relationship could have been like this 28:08. If Peter learned to control Venom and understood that Venom was influenced by other past host's then they would have been a great team.

Yeah but the problem is peter can handle it in the slightest and loses control. Flash is the only one who can consciously decide if he wants to be evil or good in the suit, like when he chose to protect MJ. Spider-man on the other hand has so much pent up rage over the years of being mistreated and watching so many people die. I'm not saying that flash hasn't been through a ton of bad shit either, just he doesn't have the same kind of rage that makes venom uncontrollable. Sure peter was able to control venom after flash snapped him out of going into a rage, but that's just it, sooner or later he'd kill someone in the suit. And once again, that was flash, not spider-man knowing how to get peter to control the suit better.

This would've been 1000 times better if Jameson actually got to kill the Green Goblin at that moment. Bringing Norman Osborn back from the dead was a mistake that still needs to be undone just like One More Day.

I love the responsibility speeches, because Peter is just as responsible for a lot of the people that die from re-freed villains who have no intent to change their ways.

It's always portrayed as the bad choice but Peter Parker has killed just as many people indirectly as he's saved because these villains don't want to change, and because they keep being freed they do progressively worse and worse things. It's his fault as much as the man holding the gun. Aunt May is a moron in some of the comics, yelling at him while she has a gun to her own head and Peter's given the option to either die or kill. It's stupid.

@@ectothermicthe people with this mindset just have it out for the wrong people. It is not Peters responsibility to be judge, jury, and executioner. He’s to stop harm from coming to everyone, whenever he can. You dont want villains hurting more people? Thats the states responsibility, the actual judge and jury. If they break out and cause more harm and the state doesnt wanna kill em, that aint peter-mans fault.

Gotta stop 'em, instead Batman protects the Joker and Peter allows the Kingpin to do whatever he wants. Hell, when he DOES kill the Kingpin May yells at him despite having had a gun to her face and being told Peter's only choice to save her is to allow himself to be killed. The fuck? Also, Bruce Wayne has infinite money and contingency plans for every single one of his friends but he can't figure out a permanent solution for people like Joker? Iron Man put in prison and allowed his fellow heroes to be tortured but he can't reliably put away villains? Come on now. That's stupid.

What makes Red Goblin so terrifying isn’t just his immunity to Symbiote weaknesses and how he can morph Goblin weapons into Symbiote Bioweapons. It’s more than that. It’s their combined genius and ruthlessness By rights, Flash Thompson as Anti-Venom should have been enough to defeat Red Goblin But Red Goblin exploited a weakness of both Flash Thompson and Anti-Venom Overusing Anti-Venom’s healing. Depletes its Symbiote substance and antibodies. Making it less able to heal Flash Red Goblin exploited that, making Flash heal his Allies until there wasn’t enough Symbiote to save himself which led to his demise Both Carnage and Norman Osborn were ruthless to exploit the bleeding hearts of their foes before. Combined there was almost no limit to their depravity, which only Norman Osborn’s ego was their foil In an one on one fight, at full health, Flash Thompson would have won against Red Goblin otherwise

I’m so interested how spidey got both Doc Ock and Venom to help him in this fight, and how Doc Ock gave his life for aunt may was so beautiful that even a cold hard villian has good in him, I love stories where they make Doc Ock good in the end as he is such a complex character that has a lot of good in him

Probably because Goblin's armor has inherit fire resistance and probably sonic too since I think one of of the bombs in his arsonal lets out a high pitch screech before detonating.
