Just the cockpit sound in high altitude changed, the engines, the roar is louder than before, before update it was a smooth nice wind in the cockpit like in the 737 or another planes but now you can hear the engines still in high altitude 😢very pitty

@@newgeorgexciit’s still in working progress of being worked on. Gotta remember PMDG is aware of all of this that the community has been saying about the sounds. The sounds aren’t a huge concern but they will be getting all updated as time goes! This to me sounds better though it truly does. They’re going to get it all fixed, just gotta be patient with PMDG.

Quite an unfair comparison if you compare it with those companies that actually sell Alpha and Beta software such as TFDI or FSS, don't you think?

​@A330Driver That comparison is actually the unfair one. FSS is actually very transparent with their customers about the state of their addons.

And you’re sure you exit the sim the asobo recommended way?

@@A330Driver Yes. I use the ESC key to bring up the FS exit back to main menu and click on exit simulator. The 737 save on fluids works great. The 777, not so much. I read other people having same issue on pmdg forums and the work around for it seems to be saving the current panel state before leaving simulator manually. The forum administrator has passed on the issue and is aware of it happening to groups of people.

Tbh I think they're different but I wouldn't call them better or worse. But I also liked the original cockpit sounds, so...

@@A330Driver I think the sounds before 2.0.36 in the cockpit in cruise was 1000 times better than now, cause the roar sound in high altitude is not realistic right? (Nur kurz auf Deutsch) Wenn man in einem Cockpit sitzt dann hört man ab einer gewissene Höhe keine Triebwerke mehr sondern nur noch der wind. Das ist doch richtig? Weil leider nachdem Update verschwindet der Triebwerk sound nicht wenn man über 20-30 tausend fuss ist wie vorhin.

@@newgeorgexci Der Triebwerkssound "verschwimmt" in der Höhe extrem mit allem anderen, wirklich unterscheiden kann man die Triebwerke nichtmehr von irgendetwas anderem. Ich bin mir sicher, wenn sie ausfallen würden, würde man nochmal einen Unterschied hören. Aber an sich erkennen kann man den Triebwerkssound nichtmehr in der Höhe.

@@A330Driver aber warum nimmt pmdg jetzt dieses feature weg, weil vorhin 2.0.36 konnte man die triebwerke nicht mehr hören oder wie du sagst wahrnehmen aber jetzt nachdem update hört man leider die triebwerke wie bei der Horizon 787-9, ich werde ein Ticket eröffnen und pmdg anschreiben, sieht so aus dass niemand sowas leider wahrnimmt das was geändert wurde.

@@A330Driver I have not read through the changelog but if my ticket at PMDG is closed with the answer „This is known, has been fixed for next update“, then I expect that the problem will really be fixed in the next update (i.e. this one).

@A330Driver It seems to be on profile. I doing a go around at KLAX last night and was doing a vector to the transition wavepoint. Now the LNAV button was lit up, but it just kept going on heading mode even tried to disengage and it wouldn't go back on profile. Now I know that deviate 2 NM 737 or you won't catch your profile.

@@martinmurray566 The light on the button doesn't mean anything except that the mode can be deselected by pressing the button again. You need to look at your FMA. LNAV was probably armed but since it didn't meet the capture criteria (google for those) it did not engage.

Most likely pilot error by me, on the same flight did have a simulated engine failure at FL380 and 140 NM From KLAX I got the engine started again I was still on an Adrenaline high but WOW what fun still landed just used the heading Bug and caught GS.

Hi, dazu kann ich nur sagen, dass ich aktiv mitbekommen habe in den Betas, wie die Modelle entstanden sind und wie Stück für Stück Teile hinzugefügt wurden. Sowohl bei der 737, als auch bei der 777. Und Hand auf's Herz: Die P3D Modelle und MSFS Modelle sehen doch nicht gleich aus? Klar sind Ähnlichkeiten da, die sind ja vom selben Modeller. Aber deiner Kritik kann ich mich in keiner Weise anschließen.

@@A330Driver Sollte auch keine Kritik über die Modelle sein, definitiv nicht. Nur falls es so wäre, müsste man das natürlich kommunizieren. Mir kommt es wirklich so vor als ob es die P3D Modelle sind (die ja auch schon sehr gut waren) und dann eine Aufbesserung bekommen haben. Und nebenbei, du warst sicherlich wie ich auch schon öfter in einer T7 unterwegs. Das der Flieger für 70€ es mit dem Soundset durch die Beta geschafft hat ist mir mehr als schleierhaft. Aber dafür gibt es ja FTSim Mal ganz von der Kritik abgesehen ist der Flieger Systemtechnisch eine 10von10 geworden. Hut ab an PMDG für die Leistung

@@MrChrisSax Man muss natürlich sagen, dass es die selben Flugzeuge sind. Natürlich werden sie dann auch ähnlich aussehen. Aber die Modelle wurden neu erstellt. Möglicherweise unter Verwendung der selben Referenzdaten, was auch immer das für Daten waren (ich weiß nicht, ob PMDG mit 3D Scans arbeitet oder wie das genau gemacht wird - aber falls es 3D Scans sind könnte das natürlich erklären, wieso teilweise ähnliche Eigenheiten im neuen Modell sind, wie im alten). Zum Sound kann ich ehrlichweise nicht viel sagen. Als Piloten sitzen wir eh immer mit einem ANR Headset im Cockpit. Selbst bei der 737, auf der ich tausende Stunden habe, kann ich dir nicht sagen, wie sie ohne ANR klingen würde, geschweige denn ohne Headset. Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich am PMDG Sound nichts auszusetzen habe und die ganzen Kommentare a la "der klingt wie ein Staubsauger" oder "klingt wie Fliegeralarm" absolut null nachvollziehen kann. Bin aber selbst auch nicht type rated auf der 777 und kann dir daher nicht sagen, wie sie klingen müsste. Von den Cockpitsounds habe ich mich explizit herausgehalten in der Beta und bin davon ausgegangen, dass die Kollegen, die den Flieger fliegen schon etwas sagen werden, wenn da was nicht stimmt. Allgemein kann ich nur sagen, dass sie - in jeder Version - für mich glaubwürdig nach Flugzeug klingt.

Saß als Passagier auch schon mehrmals in einer T7 und muss sagen, evtl auch was für dich, das FTSim das schon wirklich sehr gut hin bekommen hat. @@Youtub77W I'm sure they exchanged thoughts with Asobo, they talk regularly. However Asobo prioritises things according to their own schedule. That schedule can only be influenced by as many of the community making these requests as possible.

Well, what would you expect to feel? I've only flown the 777 full flight sim and of course a year on the A330 now and I can tell you straight out that most simmers severely overestimate the effects of weight and size. It's not like someone would slap 737 flight controls on a 777, Boeing knew what they were building so the controls fitted to the plane are of course up to the job.

I once flew the 747-400 in a full flight simulator (British Airways), and I was very, very surprised how light and responsive the plane was on the controls. You should think that such a hugh and heavy aircraft, was both heavy and sluggish on the controles, and that you had to wrestle it. But not at all.
