Thank you, always appreciate your long and detailed reviews. Hopefully by the time they release the -800 they will have added things like an EFB. The Fenix 320 is a superior value right now so I'm getting that and will wait to see how the 737 evolves to justify the price.

It's thanks to channels like yours that we in the flight sim community can discern between the good and the bad developers. I for one have spent over the years a lot of money on this great hobby. But what we must remember is the amount of code that has to be written to make a good piece of software. I go back to a time flying a red triangle around a flat blue screen, and now here I sit in the comfort of my home at a curved screen in the flight deck of a 737 as real as it gets listening to a Real Life Airline Captain and ATC going through a virtual flight, with a community of fellow flight simmers, and I love it. I'm not getting the thing anyway ( or any of the variants ), but you asked for a little feedback about the review itself, so ... What I think was lacking a little was a sense of how you felt the aircraft is to operate - you were so busy actually operating it that there wasn't much discussion of any annoyances or things you liked enough to notice, and some comparison with a FM simulator might also have been interesting given this isn't something most people will have experienced. Generally the idea that "I like this, but not for the price" came across which I guess is a good review by itself, but maybe looking at a review as a training mission where you're introducing someone new to the simulator & want to point out good & bad rather than as a line flight might help? I'm not quite sure of the angle I'm after here myself, honestly.. I also think some FMS setup might have been handy, although yes watching someone put an entire route in the FMS can be pretty dull :p is the FMS feature complete? any wierdness in it's operation? The autoland was a nice thing to set up - a bit of hand-flying somewhere would have been nice but everyone just seems to think coming off the AP on final is enough hand-flying, so I'd rather see the automation! And Kitty,try & restrain your memeing a little bit ;)

great video! As a total newbie to the 737 would you recommend the 600 and avoid the higher price? (I already own the Fenix so every little bit helps!). I don't fully understand why it's cheaper then the rest or why pay extra for the same plane that's just longer.

How does one get the aircraft to show up on the charts??

Before getting into this video too far (less than 3 minutes is as it is) I have to get this off my chest. Quite simply, do not buy this product. Here's why. On a quality for cost level it would seem you get what you pay for. But, and there's always a but, in the end you'll be getting ripped off. I've been bitten twice by PMDG. Once with the JS41, and a second time with the MD-11. They've already stopped support/recognition of the 73x series for fsx/p3d. They'll do the same with the 777 and 747 series. In the end, you end up paying for product that you won't be able to use. I call that theft. Sure, PMDG does wonderful work. Perhaps the best you'll get, period. But i'd like to be able to use what I spend my hard earned money on for as long as I want. Not a matter of stopping support for it. That just means no longer working on it, no developing and updating it. It shouldn't mean making it no longer being able to use it. I'm just sending this as a consumer, as a potential warning to other consumers. Once again, high praise to the PMDG staff for their work on everything they do. It's all amazing. But the final frustration of having wasted that kind of money on a product doesn't clear them in my book. That aside, I do want to give praise to this channel. Something comes out and gets a review, this is the first (and often last) place I come to. It's informative, clear, concise and honest. If there's something you don't like about the product, you say so. No "Can't do anything wrong" fanboying, which is nice. Please, keep it up.
