" I stand amazed" whenever I listen to and hear of this lady, the leader of Barbados. I can still remember arriving in Barbados in the early sixties. Around that time or soon after, her grandfather became the mayor, and so far; the only mayor of Bridgetown the capital city of Barbados. I grew up under the leadership of another leader: the honorable Errol Barrow, whom she quotes in her speech, and after moving from Barbados I grew to be an old person in another country. To have the honor of seeing this young develop into a leader of international stature in a relatively short time is mind bogglingly encouraging and more than anything else makes me wish that I was a " bajan". But falling just short of that, I am happy to have at least grown up there. By the way, I recently got back from Ghana.

So proud of you PM Mottley. I'll be playing this video to my 13-year old daughter day in day out until she gets her mind and heart wrapped around the challenges in the way and comes up with her own commitment in ways to make a difference. Be it known to all (foreign and domestic vilains) that no longer will the prying western oligarchy and its domestic accomplices be in position to shut down our leaders engaged in making the African Renaissance a reality.

If words were enough to pay tribute to this Caribbean giant spirit planting indomitable seeds and providing the beacon so we can see, not only what's happening around us but within us as peoples of a common heritage. To loose the hidden chain of mental enslavement by showing us how to set ourselves free so we can see the endless possibilities and potential of a powerfully conscious people.

An effective leader. A pure asset for thé Caribbean and Africa. I hope the bloody and dynastic tyranny at next door, I mean Togo, a regime that is the perpetuation of the very principles of the heavy past, by offering death and suffering, deprivation and misery to millions, has heard the sense of history.
