This new indie fighting game has been making some waves, so why not learn the roster and cast of characters, to see who is a fit for you! People asked and I listened, so if you found the coverage on Pocket Bravery interesting on the channel, now lets deep dive into the entire roster of characters and lets CHOOSE A MAIN! Naturally everything time stamped for your ease of use, and leave a like if you could cause these videos always take so long to make lol. Its not the biggest roster you will ever see in a FG, but it is a very unique one and everyone has their own cool stuff(and cool tributes to other games), so dig in and time to learn!

Very rarely you will hear my voice dip out for a second before coming back in for the vid, thats cause of the AI noise canceling thing I used. Its 33 celcius in my apartment and the humidity is 80%, so there was basically no way I could make this video without having the AC blasting on max. The noise cancel did a very good job of cutting it out, but causes the occasional audio dip. Fall come take away this horrible weather!!!

We from Brazil always play games in japanese or english trying to guess what the characters are saying while they are throwing out moves and special attacks. This time, the audio is in brazilian portuguese, so I wonder what the characters sound like for those that don't understand our language. My personal opinion is that japanese voices usually sound more badass, english voices sound more formal or fun, and portuguese sound natural or silly sometimes... Anyway, nice video, keep up the pocket bravery content!

Just for the sake of curiosity. Most lines that Jorge says while doing his specials are "giberish" versions of the original sounds of the moves he copy. This is a joke for us because it was how most of us understood and tried to replicate the compressed sound of the moves in arcade machines back in the 90's without knowing propper english or the correct name of the moves. So instead of sayin "hiezan" he says "gilson" tha sounds familiar, for example.

this game is just special for me. it ain't everyday a brazilian game hits it big time like this. at the end of the day, i think i'll play hector. not coz he's the kinda character i'd usually play but because he speaks EXACTLY like me. all the slangs, the insults and the accent, i never knew i needed this but i sure as hell did

@@Gamersgoinblind I'll try to translate or explain as many as I can Anti-air grab: "Cóe!" (Wazzup!). If it lands: "Otário" (Sucker!) EX anti-air grab: "Pela saco!" (A vulgar expression/insult to describe a very arrogant, annoying or idiotic person) Dashing hit grab: "Tá ligado?" (Got it?/You dig?). If it hits: "Fracote" (Weakling!) Side-switch grab: "Zé ruela!" (An expression to describe an useless, idiotic person who can't do anything right or won't take action) First super: "Toma! Neném!" ("Take this! Baby!", but the "baby" part in an insulting manner) Second super: "Sente a pressão!" (Feel the pressure!) Final Impact: "Acabou o caô!" (It can either mean "party's over", or "No more BS!", but given the context, it's definitely the latter)

Oh hell yes! This game is gonna be for sure EVO 2024 material. I'm going to buy this thing even if I don't get to it for a little while. I have the devs active in the Steam comments on fixing bugs at launch which is a very good sign for the health of a game.

I like how you approach games. I can expect a long video that covers the overview of the game. I can expect specific characters guides. I can expect a 10 essential tips video. well for pocket bravery to be honest I am not sure we are gonna get the full suite cause MK is righttttttt around the corner. That said though, I wanted to make sure to get some coverage out for the game

I cover everything, but the reality is for anyone who is driven by numbers, the numbers for an indie game don't exactly pan out. I coulda make some sensationalist clickbait vid on MK leaks or something and got way more clicks than working on pocket bravery stuff.

Hadassa and Hector are my favorite, she´s really versatile since you can approach the adversary in many ways. Hector is far more challenging but his persona is really interesting. By the way, this roster has a lot of personality and lots of variation. Really good job!

I can always count on Roofle to make Character overviews for whatever fighting game he covers. Always so informative and detailed. That said, I am a fan of anything boxing, so I already had my pick. Although, thanks to the video, I might also pick up Kimberly as well.

Wow! The way all these characters play look very cool. As a big boy main, you can expect me to be Arshavin or Ndidi, but Jorge, Daisuke, and Ximena also look like fun. Sebastian, being a high-APM character will not match my playstyle, but I will say the way he works, especially with the ice wall gimmicks looks very cool. (Yes, I left that pun in there.) :3

23:19 when playing with Hadassa, I immediately felt like she was really inspired by Laura, from SFV. Is a very similar kind of character, a grappler that isn't, but a kind of rushdown with command grabs. Really cool video!

So, Roofle, one thing you didn't mention about Arshavin it's that his Charging Bear grab goes through projectlies as he's running. As if he wasn't scary enough. #ArshaWIN

kinda sad that arshavin isnt a true grappler (one grab takes a chunk of thier HP) but i might pick him up. i really want to pick up sebastian because i love my boxers.

But on the other hand, some of his grabs (even the Comrade Hug grab) can be set up for some nasty combos if the enemy is against the corner

he's so charismatic that I'll still be playing him, but I do miss more damaging grabs and an antiair like Zangief, Potemkim and Goro Daimon.

The game is more KoF styled so that means grappler damage off 1 grab isn't titanic, but on the flip you can combo into every grab and there's way more grab options

I just need to know who's most like Sol Badguy or K'. Hector/Muno/Hadassa seem pretty damn cool. Wolf Stance Hector has that brutality I wished XIII Claw Iori had.

Do note that Kimberly's roll kick has the same name as Geese's kick command normal and she also yells "PREDICTABLE!" with her EX counter.

Almost correct: Kimberley is the Big Blonde Brash American USA! Gal (at least that's how I see her) who fights on top of the Empire State Building in New York (Where Bald Eagles Dare and check out the US movie references) and McClane is indeed a scottish name "Mc" albeit familiar name in the USA/Canada where a lot of Scots emmigrated to but he's Scottish and fights in Glasgow it seems.

I'll buy this game to support the devs... Especially since I'm from Brazil. But I fear it's yet another wonderful indie fighting game whose online scene will be mostly dead and forgotten in 3 months or so... I hope I'm mistaken, though. Time will tell.

there is simplified controls as well, although honestly I didn't mess with it so I don't know the specifics. You select your control type before you pick your character
