y'all are memeing on this game but it gets genuinely soul-crushing later on there's a point where the dog starts saying it has to leave and how all its friends are waiting for it, and it seems genuinely sad when you don't let it go, but then when you do it gives this big emotional goodbye

These kinds of games always make me feel emotional for some reason. Maybe it's because i am very caring person and when i see a puppy or kitten or a baby, i just want to hold it and protect it. I can't play these types of games, cause i will probably cry.

So, basically... the dogs get bored of you and leave after you interact with them enough? Ouch. Yeah, I would have hated that. That's not even an "ending". It's just depressing. Shame, since the game does seem pretty funny at points. Even if it's unintentional.
