I don't think peter quit being spiderman I believe he is just taking a break to rebuild what he and harry started and just let miles take over being spiderman until the 3rd game

I just finish the main story for this game I definitely enjoy it with some great music and crazy boss battles in it with some great performance from the casting throughout the game overall a fun ride of course at the end of the day

I feel like the only person who cares about this but what’s the deal with the anti venom suit after the game is over? Does he have it still? Is it dead? it was getting torn up, which is really concerning for a symbiote, but There’s no outright statement like “Dang- my anti venom suit fell apart after that fight with Harry, might as well give it a rest for awhile too 😜”. I really like symbiotes and I love anti venom especially, and Peter having anti venom is a new take I personally love and is probably one of my favorite plot points of this game. Peter having anti venom is basically like the reward/redemption for black suit fans everywhere cause we finally get to keep the dopeness of symbiote Spider-Man. TRDL: I really hope Pete kept anti venom and we get to use it again in the next game, it’s just too dope of a concept to scrap. Also symbiote powers are too fun and the design is ill

Light spoiler for ATSV One thing I think is interesting about this game is that Spider-Man (at least Peter cause that’s who I was playing as when I did the mission) doesn’t know Miguel and the spider society yet. Which means that this happens before his cameo in ATSV. Wonder if this will get explained in dlc or some other game

I think the DLC should focus on Venom vs Carnage. I dont want symbiote stuff in the 3rd game, it would become to muddled. Have the symbiote still alive and attached to Harry, but severely weakened due to the Anti-Venom blast. This would allow Harry a bit more say in what the Symbiote does and give it some more legitmate direction in how to be a hero. This would, obviously, start with the wrangling of Carnage.

In MJ’s mission in the hunter camp you also find out that Kraven killed Shocker as well.

Holy shit this version of Harry Osborne is going to go through hell. First he has his life threatening condition, loss of his mother, and emotionally disconnected father. Then he goes through all of this shit with venom and now Norman is gonna make him the green goblin too??? Brother let the kid rest for a second.

Soo does anyone think that venom is alive?? Cuz he clearly dies with all the other symbiotes. But at the same time we see that oscorp has symbiotes that weren't affected by the rock being destroyed for some reason. Also it looks like the next game is gonna be mostly miles and peter will probably make a comeback and die imo. And I kinda got the feeling that insomniac isn't planning to take these spiderman games much farther

Happy to have a video like this that covered everything with all the side quest stories and all. The game fell off hard for me about half way through and even though I thought the story itself was fantastic I had to force myself to finish this game which is odd because spider-man is my all time favorite hero and I played the hell out of Spider-Man ps4 and got the platinum but I had to rush to finish the game and I couldn’t careless about the platinum here I don’t even think I can play this game any longer unfortunately.

if u pay attention norman gives harry some of the symbiote and still has some left on his arm. imo i really didint see the point of the surprise that norman had a symbiote on him because we don’t see or hear anything else and it goes nowhere

I'm so glad the insomniac Spiderman games succeeded like the Arkham games instead of being a failure like the avengers game.

I am I wrong for not liking the story of this game. The first game just had a more devastating payoff and I felt like I didn't really care about Harry. Like what does Harry's and Peters friendship look like other than a flashback scene? Would have loved some more slower parts that create more drama in Peter's life. Also I liked the ideas of MJ's and Pete's relationship growing into something where MJ doesn't need to do the saving as she stated in the previous game (where she wants to do some saving) but that they both have to work together to save each other and compensate with each other. Though I wish this was explored even more like the scenes of them in the first game.

The game was Great but it could have been Greater. great gameplay visuals story I loved but the third act on just went to fast and I felt like it was a bad move after all the years of waiting for venom just till kill him at the end we need him alive it felt so amazing playing as him versing him he was so good but there wasn’t enough after completing game 100% for platinum I felt like I didn’t t get enough of Peter with the black suit and venom just being in the story idk what’s wrong best experience ever it’s just can’t believe he’s gone hopefully Eddie brock was reporting When everything was going on in the city and venom came in contact with him or harry still has some of venom left in him You know what to but will you cause u said use are gonna listen how we react. insomniac you did an amazing job you all honestly need to give ur selfs a pat on the back but we need more venom I love carnage but he’s not venom we the people want more venom respectfully thank u so much for this masterpiece tho Lmk what use think of the game

Overall a great story, need to play through it again to make my final decision. However is it just me that felt they robbed black cat of a bigger role in this game? What was the point of her being in it for one mission then never to see her again?

But how did the Meteorite get cut in half in the first place?

One thing that I'm confused about. Why was MJ in the back of a Van. who's Van was it? Was it one of her co- workers? Or did it belong to the hunters? If she knew it was the hunters and she was waiting for them to take her to their base why did she act shocked when they shut her in when she dropped her phone.

insomniac has the code and all for letting us play as venom so it shouldnt be difficult for them to let us play as venom in a dlc for the whole story

I don’t know why but am I the only one who feels that they really went fast on the last act like I felt it went so fast and we didn’t get a lot of things for example we didn’t see no clue or an Easter egg or anything about Eddie and even venom he’s just gone they didn’t show if he was going to be back and Pete felt he kept on losing through the entire game , like the story felt so rushed , I hope there’s a DLC like the first game where they can expand on the story more , and one more thing we didn’t get different versions of the black suit in total there’s only three two default and one classic but no comic ones and there’s a lot they can add , heck we didn’t even get the black suit with the red spider like the fan created years ago as a new concept and marvel bought the idea from this guy ,,,like I was already thinking it will be in the game but no All in all the story is good but not great they rushed the last act and missed on a lot of things they could do and add

Correction: MJ wasn't forced to use sound to subdue Peter in the tunnel. She inadvertently found out about it and proceeded to stop it.

Honestly it sounds so lacklustered honestly they could have just did a better version of Weber shadows if that's the case but of course they would do a knock off Harry Osborn as the Venom kind of storyline and waist craving the Hunter he but okay it is what it is not a good sequel

I believe the end of the game should be interpreted like this: Peter is not really quitting the Spider-Man gig he’s just taking a big break to pull his life together and recover from the events of the game. If you switch to him post-game he even says: “Break time’s over” implying he’s still up to being Spidey. Plus Miles said it better: “This city looks like a 2 Spider-Men job to me”
