Harvest has been a very volatile mechanic, rebalanced, taken away, reintroduced. It is in a really good spot right now though.

Gameplay wise I think the mechanic is fine, Crop Rotation brings some more decision making to it as well. Anyway I would really love to see some powerful Harvest craft, cause right now most of them are a shadow of their former self!@@ibulleti7948

Yes Crop Rotation slows down gameplay a little bit. It's more interactive, so I find it fun, but farming without keystone is just smoother and more profitable, unless the lifeforce sextant of the lifeforce you are farming is stupidly high (which sometimes happens in standard when big crafters destroy the market)

If you want to use the duplicate lifeforce compass you MUST force harvest somehow. You can do that with the Map Device or the Sextant. Imo sextant is better.

​@@Jinryougoa good solution can be removing ess and going with chance to get expedition. Ive been running ess, exp, beast farming and its almost 100% of the time i get an expedition.

I used this harvest with expedition, if you're using the big bomb, you're better with just going essence instead of expedition. I had a lot of maps that i couldn't even take 1/5 of the rewards just because the boxes had modifiers that i couldn't fight against, of course if you're not using the big bomb it's not an issue but it consume a lot more time per map, in other hand, Essences don't have any downside, you just kill and kill and doesn't take any time to do, and is free profit. Also maybe i was doing something wrong but i didn't see much profit, like 1 or 2 divines with Tujen, no luck with Gwenen, and the crafting with Rog was 99% of the times pure garbage. The only thing that was decent profit was selling the books, stacked decks and a few raw chaos from Tujen, but let's be honest, you can get more chaos/divines just by selling essences and it doesn't take any extra steps. For me the best combination was strongbox, essence and harvest, with niko to help clearing everything faster and also some extra profit from buying chaotic resonators for azurite and selling those, it's free money. The only thing that was even better in terms of currency per hour was boss rush, but that's only if you don't take the time you spend buying the compasses, maps, and invitations, and the amount of time that take to sell all the contracts if you combine it with heist, it was rewarding, but also a pain in the ass at least for me.

Yes, in one run I got 2 unique bosses from a single Harvest Crop. Sadly I was not recording with OBS at that time.

@@Exosta Yea it's a good one. The Harvest and Expedition keystones are the best new ones I believe. I tried the torment one and it didn't even seem to work unfortunately.

Yes, however remember that expedition has benefits a lot from scarabs, which we can't use. I prefer Essence because even if Expedition is more synergistic, Essence is just more profit/hour imo.

The problem is that the Lifeforce sextant can be pricey and so you lose some value if you go without forcing harvest!

This isn't a bad strategy for per map profits but it's very bad for profits per hour. Losing 1 map of sextants is -30 40 50 chaos whatever it is but it's upwards of 5 to 15 mins of no profits depending on run speeds

Sadly we don't have access to jungle valley during this league, so I didn't include reference to that Map, I personally don't like Mausoleum as a Map layout. As long as you go straight to Boss in Crimson Temple or other high density Maps you should not lose too much quant - max 1 altar imo

The Extra Content Notables do not prevent a content from spawning if you force it with Sextant or Map Device, as we do with Harvest!

@@Exosta i thought that was the case when I saw you had it blocked in the tree. What I meant was if it’s possible to make the harvest sextant yourself without having to trade for it. I have never seen it drop as loot with the desired mods. Only as a bare sextant.

you cant have both blue and purple sextant. just use blue + sacred grove. The rest is pretty flexible.

You can try Harvest + Expedition instead!

wandering path + growing hordes is just too greedy on packsize and sacrifice is too big. Both expedition and harvest have very powerfull notables and normally with wandering path you compensate for at least expedition sidet by throwing polished/gilded expedition scarabs as they have powerfull bonuses, but with both growing hordes and wandering path you can't. Wandering path without growing hordes should still be ok-ish, though somewhat weaker than growing hordes (as obvious investment vs no-investment option).

Great video. I like how you also show different ways to play the strategy compared to most other videos that show one with no variation. Have you tested red alters over blue ones? Asking because in my case I can't really do blue, 2 of the downsites that can roll brick my build.

You can either roll your maps with 5 modifiers or 6 modifiers. Minimum required is 5.

You can only use one Lifeforce sextant, only one can apply at once!

You should always reduce the lifeforce color you don't want to farm. So if you farm yellow, reduce purple and blue; if you farm blue, reduce purple and yellow and so on

When you force any league mechanic via sextants or scarabs the extra content notables don't prevent the content from spawning.

This is my (very) high budget Standard Build. If no Legacy stuff or other bias factors are involved, I test my strategies in Standard, since it's so much faster to do there. I always base my videos on League prices to evaluate profitability! You can achieve similar enough results with a very high budget MF Build in league. That said Harvest is not affected by MF so nothing changes result-wise, build is irrelevant for the video. Tbh Altar spawning is very RNG dependent. Sometimes you get 10, sometimes 3. It's random really. Don't think too much about it. Just make sure to reach the Boss at the start of the Map to optimize your chance to get blue altars with Quant.

It is still mandatory, since we get 10% chance for the not chosen crop to not wilt!

I didn't test the new keystone Expedition yet, that said I included Essences because I feel like they are a lot of profit per hour and because (personal bias) I am not a great Expedition lover. Overall the strategy is pretty flexibile, so you can adapt for a lot of content that is sensitive to pack size increase. Although it could slow gameplay down, Blood-filled Ritual Vessels might become pretty juicy.

Yes, the strategy is extremely consistent with very little rng involved. If you have only 200c though start without sextants and go for cheaper scarabs, so you don't feel too concerned.

Maybe I did not explain this part well. If you want to play Essence it is highly desireble to use the Essence Map Device Crafting option, so you force Harvest with the sextant. Instead, if you are not interested in Essences or the Harvest sextant is simply too expensive go for Seventh Gate and use the Harvest crafting option.

I tried making an atlas strategy that incorporates the 7 gates, but it's awkward to allocate them based on where I want to be on the tree for harvest, is there a tree you recommend for this? I also ran 100 maps without the harvest sextant with all the harvest chance allocated and got harvest 78 times (blocking almost all mechanics). Do you think it could be more profitable to not force harvest with either? as they are roughly 45c each

I'm running pohx's inqui RF, and it works wonders for both

The most important part imo is having a tanky enough build against dot, which also moves very fast, so yeah RF could do it with appropriate investment in movement speed

Actually a friend of mine got 3 T4 seeds once, I never was this lucky though. I got 1 max.

Hexblast mines is extremely powerful and meta this league, if you like the skill it's still very strong when played this way, you basically just need a blasphemy curse/profane proxy and a curse on hit ring/glove to make it work and it scales very well

Hexblast is still very strong. Your info about it being bad now is so wrong it's funny. Although if you liked hexblast you should also like impending doom. It's a very meta skill that is already slated to get nerfed next league. Abuse it while you can if you want a good build for clearing the entire screen.

Imo it's bad, because once you get to like 80 90 pack size further increases have diminishing returns, insead the small passivrs for harvest are very goof

@@Exostai test it both 2 round with wandering path and regular harvest setup, in 1 wandering round i got around 13k wild lifeforce, it seems have a high roof. Regular setup is more consistently with 10k, though

It's not too important to have 6 modifiers, you can totally play with 5 and then Vaal. Just don't vaal 4 modded maps imo, those are too bad. Also you don't need to hit 100 pack size, in fact that's pretty hard.

You are forcing Harvest anyway, so you can allocate that for free

Tbh I have no idea, but I would not do that anyway. Sextants and gilded scarabs are mandatory in my opinion, you get so much value out of those. Also keep in mind that Lifeforce is more expensive in high bulk, and you will reach high bulk much later if you farm Harvest without investment.

i have taken shaping the skies, sharping the mountains and shaping the world but i rarely get a map, i followed your atlas tree from the spreadsheet, plus whats do you choose in the map devise woth no seventh gate? if u are choosing seventh gate, u need to update your spreadsheet attals tree

You can start without the lifeforce duplicate sextant, and then when you gathered enough raw divines add the sextant. Never do a strategy you can barely afford, or you will get demolished by negative rng sequences.
