Crossing the border into Poi pet Cambodia can be a daunting task. Before you even get to Thai Immigration departures you are greeted by scammers trying to sell you visas don’t do it,
All through what they call no man’s land where all the casinos are you are greeted by children begging for money this is another scam don’t do it usually the parents are pointing to possible victims and instructing the children who to pick on
At the border control Cambodia fill out your form and wait in the cue and these are very long and it’s very hot If you make any mistakes with your documents you will be sent to the back of the cue no questions asked and they are very rude about it.

Tip when you’re at the border of Arunyapratet (Thailand) and Poi Pet (Cambodia), just keep walking until you reach the Immigration Office in Cambodia. Don’t let the hotels in the border deceive you. Just keep walking through the bridge. Ignore the touts.

Hi, I've ever been to Poipet once in the beginning 2014. But previously I don't go anywhere besides walking around near hotel because I can't find any public transportation there for tourist. Could you please tell me what is the best public transportation in poipet? And what hotel near the casino area which have most affordable price? Because not many people review about Poipet on the website. I want to come there again one more time on next July. I heard that Poipet getting better with new Big C Supermarket. I hope you can answer my questions. Thank you in advance 🙏

From what I have learnt from other Vlogs it's best to use a good agency rather than doing it yourself it costs more but you don't get the problems so I'm told.

Not that I understood most of your comments, but your face told the full story. My question would be why use this well known problem crossing in the first place. It is common knowledge in Thailand that this crossing is a real scam center and crossing back to Thailand can be problematical also. Get a Non-O visa at Savanakhet, Laos and forget all the hassle.

None My friend I have retirement visa that had a problem so I had to shoot across and get more days. And now full retirement visa things are never easy

Thailand Unplugged Good to know champ, but I did learn to avoid this place should I ever have to renew my visa! I'll probably head to Malaysia. Hopefully things are better there.

People have to go through that place and enter the Kingdom of Cambodia and be greeted by all that. What a joke sets a good picture foe the rest of the country

Hi, Micky No, My wife didn’t need a visa everyone has to go through the Cambodian Visa office. Thais enter free no Charge

I see great vlogs watched a few I like your realism and your wife is very dry lol it did look a shithole I know you live in Bangkok and obviously no it well have you ever tried suda restaurant sukhumvit not far from soi 11 used to be really good think that would be a great vlog series decent thai restaurants in Bangkok obviously not the obvious ones that have been done a thousand times also price comparisons in different parts i.e Bangkok v pattaya and anywhere else keep up the great work

Thailand Unplugged far out she really did not enjoy herself at all. Among the younger Aussies they all seem to have nothing but praise and preference for cambo over Thailand and definitely Vietnam for some reason. Yet to do the adventure myself, so I appreciate these videos cobber

Watching and listening to you im sure they hear you swearing and acting like an arsehole, Ive been through there at least 40 times and never had a problem, sat with Kmer immigration and ate grasshoppers with them, had a local guy on a chopper take me around town and outside of Poi Pet, cost me 4 of them duck egg things and then a policeman drove me down to Pnomn Penn for 500 baht. Then he took me to his friends guest house which cost $5 per night. Kmers are lovely people, act like an arsehole you will be treated like an arsehole.

i never acted like an arshole at all and did not swear all so don’t know what you mean. Have I said anything bad about the people at all? the people are quite friendly. As for immigration you have been there 40 times you know how they work they are very rude to visitors… So I don’t know if you watched the movie or not…
