Crossing borders from Thailand to Cambodia at Aranyaprathet and Poipet. Busy as, weekend. All the Thais are in town for a gamble.

That’s right, they had it playing on the big screen in between the casinos on the main road from the border. Unfortunately it’s not there anymore cause of the fire.

100 baht is a bribe they pocket. They will ask for $1 or $2 usually at all the entry ports. That is why it isnt advertised.

True. I asked the customs guy about it and he just kept saying, 100 baht also, 100 baht also. 4 or 5 times

Do you need passport photos and printed covid vaccination certs when applying for Cambodia visa

Oh yes I forgot that mate. You need a passport photo. No Covid vaccination papers or anything to do with Covid needed. Everyone including unvaccinated can go through.

I’m an American on a visa on arrival for 45 days. Had 2 questions: 1. Will there be an issue running to the border to the casino for a day or 2 before returning to Thailand? 2. Do they have baccarat at those casinos and are they the same - played the same way as the US?

Answer 1. No issue at all. You can go to Cambodia and return to Thailand straight away. Answer 2. Sorry I don’t play baccarat Cheers mate 🙏
