@@CaptainRealm Well that's a biased conjecture if I have ever heard one. Your maturity has nothing to do with what fictional or non fictional pastimes you partake in and enjoy. In fact, if you want to be technical about it, the fact that you believe there is a prerequisite of being an adult/mature that you are trying to maintain only serves to prove your lack of maturity for the simple fact that you still have to maintain it. An adult is an adult and a child is a child, if you are trying so desperately to be an adult then you are clearly not an adult as you are "a child trying to be one" by following a particular set of rules that are not paramount to being an adult. Which again shows lack of maturity. Plenty of adults enjoy Pokemon, hell some even enjoy Dora the Explorer and I will not judge their maturity based on that like some sad little man on youtube. Perhaps you could learn a thing or two about being an "adult".

Fun fact: it's actually only the shadowless version that sells for thousands. Shadowless means that there is no small shadow to the right of the image. The unlimited print fixed this mistake and dropped the value a ton.

Fun Fact: Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were not based of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, but Tadashi Sawamura and Hiroyuki Ebihara. Hitmonlee's japanese name is (サワムラー Sawamular) while Hitmonchan is (エビワラー Ebiwalar). The change in the english versions was made because people from other countries wouldn't be able to recognize/relate the names.

In Japanese, family names are first and given names come last. So really if he said Satoshi, as was one of the three options, that should have been an acceptable answer as well, since his name is Tajiri Satoshi.

Not really... A "last name" is understood to be a surname/family name, so Tajiri would still be the only correct answer. "First names" and "last names" are Western terminology/concepts. If you bring this over to East Asia you would still say Tajiri is a surname or last name, even if written as Tajiri Satoshi.

Easy if you already knew 90% of the facts given. Only time I was struggling was with the last question, as Japanese names have first and last names switched and I didn't know if the name I was familiar with was already westernized or still in Japanese sequence. Had to gamble on that one (correctly, luckily).

the same way that most Scrabble world champions cannot speak English. they have just memorized the order of 6, 7, and 8 letter words accepted within the rules of the game; to achieve a maximum score. The same way that a deck can be built in a TCG that literally plays itself and cannot be stopped in certain circumstances. Mechanics of a game have nothing to do with the lore of a game. However, as an actual fan, that was absolute nonsense. who the eff does not know rhydon! Its statue is everywhere all over the research mansion!

The Thing is though Rhydon was the first pokemon drawn by the company and published. The actual first pokemon to be drawn by the creator of pokemon was Diglett.

you have to edit it the video so that people who use bail outs, you show their clips first. This way the audience can play along. Can't play along if you show the correct answer first

Kenora Nayoshi you can be a fan, but this premise of this is just dumb. Tell you all of the answers, and then ask you the questions. You could’ve done with anyone. Would’ve been better to ask the questions and see if they know the answer, and see if they’re right or how far off they are

How could they not pull the "Rhydon was the first pokemon ever created; Mew was the first biological pokemon; Bulbasaur is the first pokemon listed in the pokedex; Arceus is the god of pokemon" fuckery, lol?

I still find it hilarious that mew created all pokemon, meaning mew is technically the pokemon god because mew made arceus. Which in turn means arceus would be Jesus, not god. Though people never recognize this.
