They seriously need to buff that thing. Its Attack Stat should be as high as its DEF stat.

sad, that brock's onix will never become a crystal onix cause it already evolved, especially that the next gen would introduce the crystallization thingy mechanic.

I always thought the stats of onix were discriminating due to its sheer size and intimidation. I get it's mainly a defensive pokemon as a lot of gen 1 rock types are physical defenders by stats. But come on. Your telling me a giant snake made of rocks doesn't do any damage hardly? That thing could flatten most pokemon by sheer weight 😂. Gen 1 rock stats though make no sense and makes onix a classic fav but not very good completive

Yeah I'll say this Nosepass and Cranidos both were more interesting rock type gym battles in the later games.

Gen 4 had some epic evolutions too, it's too bad they haven't been consistently adding them to the series. I'd love to gain some excuses for Ash's older Pokemon to return beyond small cameos :D

Well he, he never lost it. Unlike Ash, Brock stores his pokemon at home and so had his little bro take care of em.

Same! One of the things I like about Brock is how proud each of his Pokemon make him. I was just rewatching the Mudkip & Lotad capture episodes, and he comes off as 10X more mature than Ash

Professor Alex Silver Croagunk was alright from what I remember. It had personality, it’s just too bad a lot of it just ended up being LETS GET BROCK AWAY FROM GIRLS. By that point, Brock just became super stale as a character compared to Ash and female companion. The writers didn’t do much with his Pokémon breeder goal, and at the end, just hastily wrap it up by making him a doctor.

Professor Alex Silver Glad it was useful. So, you only sticking to main cast for bios? Ever think of expanding to like say Ash’s rivals or League opponents. I guess those wouldn’t be Pokémon bios, more trainer bios since you don’t have as many episodes to go off of with them. The only rival that’d have that luxury would be Paul, with his team constantly evolving and more OP stuff coming out of left wing.

I thought about including it initially but it didn't feel like a loss since it only fell asleep and Victreebel got obliterated right after.
