Pokemon Glazed version is a very well-known rom hack, and for good reason.
Released at beta form in 2012 with it's most recent, and apparently last update coming in 2022, it's a decade-long fan project come to beautiful fruition.
Being celebrated as one of the earliest rom hacks to really push the GBA hardware, and the Pokemon
Emerald game engine.
It's a huge expansive game, with two wholly original regions to explore with their own 8 gym challenges and various narratives, as well as the Johto region, which arguably has some of the best moments of the game within it's section.
Fairy typing, Pokemon from all the way up to Gen 6 available, updated move pools... it's here, and balanced remarkably well.
As I mentioned earlier, I played Blazed Glazed, which has since seen big updates made to it by the original creator, Lucbui, and TrainerX493... making the new 2022 Glazed even better than what I played, here.
Tudou, who made Blazed Glazed specifically, is even in the game, as well as Lucbui.
Yet, what I played was still great! One day I'm gonna have to do another playthrough of Glazed, that time with the most recent version.
Glazed focuses on a trainer from the Tunod region as they journey throughout their land, challenge the best trainers, and foil the plans of a crime syndicate, this time, called Team Fusion.
It's the Pokemon formula... though with a reasonable enough twist.
