The difference in the quality of the commentary here, compared to the free footage, is night & day. Nobody yelling at you to "smash that like button" every few seconds & threatening to cut the coverage short, if enough of us don't do what they say. No ridiculous questions for 'the chat' to answer & 'go wild' over & no continually waffling on about how many likes & subscribers they're getting. And, of course, no constant marketing & offers of 30% off the annual subscription, but of course, if you were watching this live, you've already paid them the money, so they can shut up about that. What a shame they've hidden this live coverage behind yet another sports paywall. Millions of poker fans unable to watch the biggest poker event of the year. Pokergo are just a mini-Sky in the making. Profit before people.

What has TV poker become? The old WSOP broadcasts are 100x more entertaining than this. What happened to all the color segments? Player bios etc? Honestly as TV this is just sad compared to watching any old WSOP which Pokergo is currently uploading daily. Glad Norman and Lonn are still around though.

@@marcuskwek3832 it initially seemed weird to me too... i'd guess the idea is that some straight draws or club draws could get there on the river or another 6 coming out too hits some 6s -- it's hard to put Jachtmann on a PURE club draw when the club came on the turn, but a small suited connector like 6/5 clubs or 4/5 or even just any 6 could be playing like Jachtmann was (he was button), and while Jachtmann could call the all in, it'd very probably be a bad price. whereas if he doesn't bet, and a 4 5 6 7 or a club does come on the river, it's tougher to call then on the river if there is a bluff then. i'm not saying he's right necessarily, i only watch poker casually, but that's my guess to the reasoning.

At the end Jachtmann made several mistakes and was not patient enough. I guess one could feel that he is really not a Hold’em pro and coming more from Omaha. He was not familiar with Hold’em final table play. He was fearless and knew how to make pressure but…

I've watched this entire wsop from day 1 and had him on my radar day 5. I do like Walton's game a little better just because it's a little spicier. Hutchison let me down big time though relative to his GPI rank. Played super passive.

He didn't blame... he admitted he made a mistake - but they were told they were stopping at four players. A break would have served him well no doubt.

Jachtmann totally collapsed when the floor manager came in and announced the sudden change of plans. It's really not cool to throw these changes at people last minute. He had already decrompessed and relaxed, then never got back into the same groove as before. It also made the last day quite crappy with two rather quick eliminations.

why would they change the plan/structure to play further than 4 players left midst the final table play of the world series main event, a bit weird it is, everything else went exactly after plan but the most important phase not. weird!

They probably weren't expecting to lose 5 players that fast. If they cut it too short, then today's play could carry on far too long since the average stack would be so deep.

Walton’s “slamming Aces’s” may have looked overly brash, but was Karma realized as the German gent had been doing the same to others the last two days of the tournament. Besides the card slamming; the German played great and dressed even better.

I hate waiting months to see the ending. Besides, I know the players are certainly ready to get the tournament over with. It would definitely suck if you went back in November as the short stack and lose on first hand or so. All that time wasted. No thanks.
