Pole Barn Build #14: Framing the Overhead Door

4 жыл бұрынMy friend Michael came out to help with framing in the 12' by 10' overhead (garage) door. We installed blocking on the exterior frame and completed the header using 2x6s.

Just wondering why u didn't build the header on the ground ...??or atleast half of it like one 2×12 and the 2×6

I'm a novice. I make many mistakes. I'm going to try to build a house in the coming year so I'll try to remember this very good advice.
