There are laws about filming people through windows in a place where they should have privacy. So a flyover is fine but hovering outside windows looking in is not. The cop is 100% in what he is saying

Great audit. I liked the way that Karen came out and then as you were leaving their inner site quite respectfully she virtually stood in the gateway almost blocking you going out. She really wanted to be on camera, whatever else she may have thought! Glad the police put them straight with no fuss. The way they all started to pile out of the building did seem a bit like poking a wasps nest.

i worked in a lot of schools and children were filmed in all areas except the inside of the toilets. There is no problem filming children. Filming them gives them a lot of safety and protection if something did go wrong. The cameras in schools are in every area, inside and out to the gates.

It's not against the law to walk on to some place and start filming and it's not the trespass law. Trespass occurs after being asked to leave or being in an area where you aren't authorised to be. The public are allowed to be on the site (the shop) so they can't stop people doing what people do.

If they had reacted in a professional manner their business would have got great publicity, whereas they get a big negative. Why is a camera so threatening? Big mention to the police. 100%. Spot on from start to finish. Quickly dealt with the concerns of the staff, calmed them down, educated them and didn't waste any time more than needed. Perhaps the police dispatchers need training to stop this waste of police resources each time a Karen calls them. The copper was great, and was a breath of fresh air. Well done for knowing the law and de- escalating the situation. More like you needed

The footage is amazing and I love that day to night time switch on the entrance sign. If I was the site manager I would have shown you around, so you can see what areas to watch out for with power lines and obstacles. Then I would ask if I could use the footage to show on site, like in the store and the reception area.

So what does the company do with all the images that they capture on their cctv. How do we know that they are not harvesting images of children. There’s no restrictions on filming anyone in public end of.

They must all eight of them be getting paid for sitting on their thumbs in there. If I owned Mammas & Pappas I'd be putting cameras all over the building to keep an eye on staff activity or lack thereof.

You can film children as long as it's not indecent images. Someone shopping for a pram with their kid is not indecent! Cracks me up when Karen's and Kevin's don't know what they're talking about!

got to say your vids are getting better and better the slowing down of the night time footage just by a little really give a different view of the site and set other channel apart from the rest well done , great coppers that came out and were a credit to the force well done them , as for the staff ive got to say if i was there boss they would be gone from monday morning poor poor poor bad GOOGLE fed back and 1 star left on there page

I don't usually live stream. Sometimes I tell them it's for KZfaq if I definitely know it's going there like the RAF one. Sometimes I'm not 100% sure it will make KZfaq when I'm filming. I have tonnes of unused footage that just never got picked

Yeah but, I have been asked by a cop before if I'm recording, I replied yeah and I may also be streaming. Even when I wasn't even recording. The encounter ended quickly.

That copper was great. He knew the laws, said he would explain to them, gave words of advice regarding children (although you already knew that, but it doesn't hurt to remind people filming) and he was very professional. 10/10.

I wonder how many companies have "borrowed" the drone footage to use in promotional material afterwards, especially the ones who initially take issue with it.
