Love the freeform, multifaceted way you work with the rocks. Rocks are from nature, and when someone cabs them or is too committed to imposing a common geometric shape onto them, they can still be beautiful but something is lost... I like your style!

Um, Blade dressing. I have done plenty of blade dressing during my time doing lapidary, i'm branching off for a while, trying my hand at faceting / gem cutting, but don't panic I don't expect that I will flood the market with cheap high quality gemstones any time soon. Besides I still have all of the clothes up for sale, anyone interested I have outfits with matching bags and shoes that will fit most diamond blades for those who like dressing them.

Perhaps it's because we were so close to the ground as youngsters, but picking up rocks was as much of the walk as the walk itself...we've all done it 🙂 Where I live in Northern Arizona, the area was the bed of an ancient ocean with the fossils and geology as confirmation. Thanks for sharing these beauties! Terra is exceptional! I appreciate your DIY approach. So many of the rockhound channels have gotten expensive lapidary machines from the manufacturers recently and it makes me start to think I have to have the same things! I'm super glad that they are getting support because they are awesome and deserve it. But for the rest of us, who has $500-$1000 to drop on a fancy machine? 😬 Anyway, you have inspired me to get back to my polishing pads! I have a date with them this weekend. Jesse, I appreciate you!

Heyyyyy! That is awesome!!! Yeah I can’t afford those machines yet haha 🤦‍♂️😩 but one day. Fingers crossed!!!! Haha! I’m so glad you’re gonna hit the pads again!!! Best of luck and happy polishing Jenny 😁

You crack me up! That intro had me rolling🤣 Dude Jesse this was a great one. That carnelian is fire! 🔥 Its so hard to know when to cut them or leave them alone. I love the end cut... The white background really made a cool affect and made the color and banding show phenomenally! And I just love seeing the inside. I reckon it will be superb all shined up. I have to mention that beaut at 6:30... I swear that looks like lodolite... AKA garden quartz. Which is basically quartz with different inclusions that can be different colors, that resemble landscapes or underwater landscapes... And that's what I'm seeing in that beauty... What a piece... I had to pause to stare at it longer. Then you showed Terra... I was still wiping the drool from the lodolite and I dropped my rag... Dang it now I have a mess on the floor! Haha😆 I mean wowza bro... These turned out beyond amazing. Now I want to go cut some rocks haha. Cheers 🙌
