Political history aside if you study pakistan economic history it's more surprising.. Do you Know that the highest economical development in the history of pakistan was during military rule.. During Gen Ayub Khan's period the economical growth was 7.5% increase per year ( Highest ever recorded in Pakistan history) During butto period it was 2.8 and again during Zia ul Haq's period it was 6.9-7 % per year.!!! And again in present day it is just 1.8%

Although the Bharati Government is steadfast determined to counter the Insurgency against them, any settlement which does not accommodate the interests of the disaffected Kashmiris seems bound to fail. Pakistan will most unlikely to relinquish its immediate concerns of an core issue that has directly affected its own geo-strategic and political standing on world stage respectively.

A modern Muslim state. Ayub Khan, Pakistan's first Cheif Martial Law Administrator, once tried to change the name to “Republic of Pakistan” in the 1962 Constitution. However, after protests from the Ulemas, the name was changed back to Islamic Republic of Pakistan, through an amendment to the constitution.

Differences between a Plebiscite and a Referendum: a). Referendums are Mechanisms of direct Democracy are defined as a set of procedures allowing citizens to make political decisions directly through a vote, without the involvement of a Parliament or a Government. These mechanisms can be grouped conveniently according to who started the call for a vote. The vote can be prescribed by a constitution or a law and, thus, be automatic; it can be triggered without the collection of signatures by the authorities in power (be it a Parliament, a Government, or often a president); or it can depend on a collection of signatures in order to, on the one hand, block decisions post factum or, on the other hand, introduce legal provisions independent of previous legislative action. A Referendum is an expression of a direct democracy. However, in the modern world, most Referendums need to be understood as an element of systems that are predominantly representative in character. As such, they tend to be used quite selectively, covering issues such as changes in voting systems, where currently elected officials may not have the legitimacy or inclination to implement such changes. When a country's citizens are invited to vote, it is usually for an election, This promotes more conflicts around the world. Kashmir; (a state within the Disputed territory of Republic of India and Pakistan): The Security Council of United Nations, on the formal complaint of Government of India concerning the Territorial dispute over the State of Jammu and Kashmir, passed Resolution 47 (1948), "that both the Dominions of India and Pakistan desire that the question of the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to Republic of India or merge with Pakistan should be decided through the democratic method of a free and impartial Plebiscite". It recommended to the Governments of India and Pakistan to restore normalcy and peace, law and order in Jammu and Kashmir and provide full freedom to all subjects of the state, to vote on the question of a formal accession. b). A Plebiscite prevents conflicts and is the following:- 1. A direct vote in which the entire electorate is invited to accept or refuse a proposal: The new Constitution was ratified in a Plebiscite. 2. A vote in which a population exercises their right of National Self-determination. 3. (Government, Politics & Diplomacy) a direct vote by the Electorate of a state, region, etc.., on some question of usually national importance, such as union with another state or acceptance of a government programme. 4. (Government, Politics & Diplomacy) any expression or determination of public opinion on some matter. 5. A direct vote of the qualified voters of a state in regard to some important public question. 6. The vote by which the people of a political unit determine autonomy or affiliation with another country. A vote in which the whole electorate is asked to decide on a particular issue, vote - the opinion of a group as determined by voting; "they put the question to a vote" poll, referendum, ballot The future of the country should be decided by Plebiscite.

Shame Sheikh Mujib was not even mentioned. Sheikh was destined to be the leader of Pakistan and he was righteously the fair leader of Pakistan. They should have spoken at least 50% about separation with Bangladesh. You did not talk about Genocide of Bangladeshis in 1971 and the biggest failure of Pakistan to lose Bangladesh in a war to India- Mukti Bahini. You are talking about non-important topics of Pakistani history. After 71, Pakistan went down.
@zeshanmahmood49587 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry he is mentioned and always be remembered, because he also fought for a cause and at the time decided they themselves to get rid of oppression and fought for an separate existence, and after the Fall of Dacca the people of that new country have preserved their identity ever since respectively. As far as non-important topics are concerned of Pakistani history are the current issues affecting Pakistan and the world at large today such as resolving conflicts and proceeding with confidence-building measures with your neighbours

The extremist ideology, mughal sultanat mentality of the rulers, lack of strong Constitution in place, disrespect for the land, country men, intolerance towards others, lack of faith, focus and greed of power has lead your nation to a disaster. Economically and morally, it failed to position itself in the Islamic world as well as in the continent Asia as an economic heavy weight. Please analyse each and every word that I've used. It has come out of your infographic presention video. I'm glad that you didn't blame India for failure. India has seen progress because we believed in ourselves and Constitution of India. We are trying hard to be the best in the world. Nice Video!
