My granddaughters were coming to my home for art camp this year. Because if Covid it didn’t happen. I bought all the goodies and am sending them kits and we will FaceTime making different projects. This will definitely be probably the first one. Your voice is so soothing and I really appreciate how you teach. So glad I found you! Thanks, Katie!

Beautiful pendant! For me the most interesting part of the lesson was to start with a given color, a purchased color, and add different quantities of white, black, to give variations of color. Just a little bit, doesn't take much. And then to make an ombre pendant, that really fixes the concept that we can create our own choices in colors. This color blending lesson is unique in that polymer clay tutorials made by other do not discuss color too much. Ana Belchi does a color theory tutorial and Turtle Soup Beads has a fixed color-creating system (big and little circles) --- but your lesson is simple, straightforward, and leaves a lot of room for creativity. Thank you, thank you!

Leave the cutter in place and drop the tiny balls in place. It would be like a dam. Love it. 😀👍. After watching it, I think you did it the best way. The pendant shape as a dam would have been too tall and I think it has a lip. Still love it

L♡ve your tutorials the insights. Fun to see inspiring. Like how you say "A nice simple pendant" to me I would have stopped before the balls proudly thinking that was simple you take it up to a next level. I'd just be excited to have the base...🤣😂 It's beautiful. Fun to see your thought process.

So are you swishing them flat a tad bit when you are putting them on the base?

This would take me forever! Lol

As little as I could but enough to get them to stick on

it actually was quicker than a lot of other pieces just turn on a good show movie or audio book make some balls and then stick them on no sanding or resin so better than say making a cane turning it into a veneer applying slices sanding buffing and resining
