Watching you work is my ASMR fix! I have never made anything out of polymer clay and I don’t intend to start, because I do so many other arty crafty things. However, it doesn’t stop me appreciating other people’s talents and creativity. Thank you for sharing your fantastic creations.

I rubbed the alcohol on my diamond glaze and it totally ruined it. Left a bad hazy glaze on diamond glaze. Just FYI.

Yeah I was cleaning up and found the molds I did with silicone and can not get it out so tossed them. Thank you for your explanation. When you open the caulking try put a nail in the hole and plastis on top.

If you open the silicone latex squeeze that has no cap, use a nail in the hole to "cap it off".

To seal the caulking tip, insert a nail with a good size head... Stays fresh forever
@Chhesterification3 ай бұрын
To keep the caulk from drying out, put some cling wrap around the tip and then push caulk out until you have a bubble at the tip. Secure it with an elastic or rubber band. It works on all kinds of caulk.

I needed this vid so bad🙌 I just started making polymer clay jewelry and it’s a lot of fun. Do you have a video on polishing!? Because idk why but after sanding down the resin edges I can’t seem to get it to really shine again when polishing. Which which sucks because I’m also no where near good enough to make anything without needing to sand something off. Part of that I just learned from your vid is because of the mat I use when curing. It is totally flat and creates flat patched on the bottoms whatever I’m working on, so I just went to Amazon and found the type of mat you mentioned which is so much better

I have a good amount of videos but I tried not to polish the resin if u have to then the best way is doing another thin coat of resin.

I always put a nail with a big flat head on it..inside the caulking tube. It keeps them from drying out and the big head is easy to grab for removal.

These are wonderful! Thank you for sharing this. I'm thinking that we could use shrink plastic for the base shapes instead of cutting out plastic pieces (takes to long, too tedious). Using the shrink plastic is easy to cut out the shapes and you can cut the exact shape you want. I think I'll give it a try and let you know the results.

You can polish sanded resin with another thin coat of resin. The new coat bonds with the old coat

Thanks for all the tips. One tip for you. After you cut the top off your caulk and want to save it insert a nail big enough to fill up the opening.
