In this episode we look at a combination pump / filter and fountain all in one convenient set up from Poposoap. Ya you heard it right @Poposoap
I have big plans for this filter system. I am going to hook it up at my mother's smaller ponds to give it a great look and sound then I will be using it in my indoor pond later in the year as a main filter.
This pump filter kit has a 660 gph pump, two filter pads and bio balls for excellent mechanical and biological filtration.

I like that the pump is contained in a box, will be great for catching koi eggs. I also think that the outdoor shower feature will come in handy for when you are all dirty and sweaty from working outside.

It looks like a great product, simple and straightforward to use. Your mom will get to enjoy the fountain all summer long. Ideal for shallower ponds. By comparison, it would be interesting to see how powerful the solar-powered units would be.

Looks like a decent little pump/filter combo for a pond like the one at your mom's. Only issue for me would be having to take it out to do a weekly cleaning.

Thanks Ken I agree but I think it's going to work better in my indoor pond. It's been running at my mom's who has a lot of suspended algae and I haven't had to clean it yet

Very nice review Chris! I like the clips at corners that hold top on. So much better than the cheaper box filters we have here. Nice variations you can do with fountain heads. 👍😊☺️

Looks pretty cool. If I had ponds it looks to be a good investment and with the versatility that you shown folks will be able to make it fit their desired needs. Great review. I did note that part of the video lost the sound soon after you got showered.

Great product review Chris. No surprise. Looks like a nice little filter pump for a small feature. I have used an inferior one for an indoor mini pond for koi fry over winter. The additional water outlet works great for creating circulation and current to keep clean. Plus the fish grow great and remain very active. Would also do great in a small outdoor feature for the same reasons but current will aid in water clarity.

I look forward to using this on my small indoor pond. I can't wait to try the micro lift barley straw. I started trying it on my mom's pond first... It's very small. I want to get the hang of it before trying it in my pond lol

I will definitely let you know but being that it's in a small pond with a larger filter it should do ok. I haven't had to clean it yet but time will tell. I am really interested in how it does in the indoor pond Thanks so much for watching
