Jean Reno (Leon the professional) for Porco Rosso french voice is a very good choice. The result is like honey in your ears or the smells of a good breakfast a Sunday morning.

In this scene there is a minor mistake by studio Ghibli. On the wall it's written "non si fo credito", which in Italian means you must pay in advance, but the word should be FA instead of FO otherwise it sounds a bit like it has the accent of Florence even though this scene is meant to be set in Milan. It was a bit odd the first time but it's very nice that they tried

I love Kimberly Williams Paisley as Fio!! And I know that’s Micheal Keaton as Marco Pagot/Provo Rosso. Last time I heard from Kimberly Williams Paisley, he almost married that ‘My Name Is Earl’ guy in that lousy “Alvin and the Chipmunks” road trip movie. One of the new live action movies on that idiotic Alvin.

The basics that your generation lacks and refuses to consider important. I'm 23 now, but I was already better at maths, geometry, several languages and already more tech-savvy at 15-16 than all my elders bar my uncle who worked at a tech company, but of course it gets swept under the rug and people would rather make fun of me whenever I ask for advice on fixing my car, telling me I should know already. Same people who can't operate their own cellphones in 2024 and get pissy whenever you point out the truth to them. Believe it or not, the average late-teen to early 30s person is far more competent than any boomer or baby boomer, we were forced to because finding a job proper has gotten progressively harder. Back then you'd be considered a brainiac by finishing highschool, nowadays we have overcompetent people working as fry cooks after graduation.

My ranking of language I italian / french / spanish ( latin). i think they sound the best I german / english . German sound really nice but english is a bit boring, or it sound ploted like watching a cheap kid movie I japanese / indonesian / Korean. japanese sound great, exotic but a bit rought at the same time I korean / chinese. i think chinese sound the worse and korean is a mix betwen chinese and japonese / Thaï . The voice acting is so Bad it need it's own class, you can ear the page move will they are talking

Even when Porco said "It's actually both" ,the girl didn't reply rudely or called him a sexist but only assured him she won't let him down. THIS is what every woman should be like. THIS is the reason we love Studio Ghibli. The female characters are so well written, you aspire to be like them. THANKS SO MUCH MYAZAKI !! 🥺🥰
