They are the reason why I love this film(even through the film have many great elements already) Mamma Aituo gang(Their leader are the one who speak the rule here) reaction to the hostage children in the beginning are so bloody funny "Do something! (Seeing the kids being lousy and messing with the loot they robbed from a cruise)" "That's why I asked you should we took them all as hostage!" "OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" (The entire stabilizer of their seaplane fall into the sea) XD

No, that's would be true just for Hara Motro (the old pirate engineer) from Laputa (and before that, the mad warlard from the "Albatross, wing of death" Lupin III s2 episode). The scene here is actually the very mod of KOF94 Italy stage, that is. :-)

This one here is my favourite Miyazaki movie. The only bad thing is that it leaves you wanting to know more about these characters

it does, I think that was the intention. the entire movie is set in the mid war era right before the start of the second world war, A lot of the events, for example the first italian flight in 1909 and the inflation in italy around 1938 are all corellate with the real world. I think the entire movie is bitter sweet, where the characters are just sparks of joy that exist to try and forget the sheer devastation of the war that happened and the uncertain future that is to crush them.

This scene just make me laughed. Those criminal are so silly but yet they're so respectfully. I like it the rest of the film plot especially triangle love relationship. So touching when Gina told that 3 of her husband has already gone. And also bizzare and very sad moment when Marco (Pig man) experienced spiritual journey when he almost die and watching his comrades and enemy with their plane fly high to the afterlife.
