Same. One of my favorite channels and the best food channel. I love how accessible they make the recipes (sauces, rubs) without a constant sales pitch in your face for the products. I purchase from ATBBQ fairly regularly as a result.

I've made this ones on my Weber. It took longer than expected (because it's much harder to get steady temp on old Weber) and crowd started to be grouchy. They even started to eat some other shit. But when these sandwiches were ready they started to fight over them. This marinated pork belly is amazing. I've just put new batch into my fridge.

Dude... The crunch on that bread was unreal! I could almost feel every bite! 😂😂 I love to see someone truly embrace how delicious food can be... I'm not a chef, but I've been cooking for 25 years, including BBQ and seafood boils, and there is something so rewarding when you nail a recipe. I've had those bites before, just taking in the moment of all that deliciousness, and it is special 😄 Def gonna have to make this soon. If only my Loaded Wichita would just get here a little sooner... 😜 Great video!

Lacks pate and pickled vegetables really should be julienned for that texture. If you have mandolin or peeler with julienne blade it makes that really easy. Also maggi seasoning or something similar gives it nice taste enhancer.

That's a great idea on pork belly, kind of hate to peel the skin off because I'm looking for some crunch. But it looks delicious. I did notice one thing, your jalapenos were very green compared to what I get in mid GA USA which is darker. What type do they get in SE Asia?

2 things. The real deal would leave the skin on and finish it hot so you had some extra crunch and pork goodness in the sandwich. The jullian quick pickle also is necessary for the full experience, because the Pork Belly Bahn Mi is all about the texture, flavor, and heat explosion :)

I'm Vietnamese and pretty impressed with this white guy's take or tutorial on this Banh Mi. Like his spin on it, and the pickled veggies was very well done. The only thing I would say is, slice the cucumbers vertical instead of round. Makes a big difference in the crunch, at least to me.
