When I believed in a Works based salvation (I watched a lot of Isaiah Saldivar) I believed that my repetition of sin, specifically my sexual sin was going to send me to hell. I tried so hard to break free from the cycle of sin on my own and couldn’t. So I cried out to God for him to remove it from me. Guess what? He didn’t. In that moment I believed God had forsaken me and said “I don’t want you!” That is why the works based salvation is so terrible. It makes your salvation uncertain and causes you to fall into hate or even worse with God. However, I found the true Gospel of OSAS, Eternal Security or Free Grace suddenly the confusion was gone and the hate was washed away. And get this, I’m not saying I’m free of sin or that I have no temptation, and I don’t even say this to boast but when I accepted the true Gospel of Jesus Christ I have not sinned sexually, the very sinned I prayed years for to be removed gone just like that. Now, like I said I’m not incapable of ever commit that sin again but I’m just saying that once I understood the message clearly it seems to have allowed me to choose right as opposed to always doing wrong. So from the bottom of my heart I’d like to thank you, Pastor and leaders of this ministry that you teach sound doctrine, and truth. Because if it wasn’t for Brothers like you who have preached the true word of God, I would still be dead in sin. God Bless you all

Honest to God, what helped me get over my addiction to porn was when I discovered that my sin doesn't send me to hell. When I discovered free grace, idk why, but that pretty much ended it for me. I'm definitley still tempted, but I refuse to go back to that addiction.

Man you hit the nail on the head when it comes to me. When you said, guys will start watching porn, eventually it leads to chat rooms, and then an affair. Thankfully, by God's grace and a great 12 week class at my Church, I was able to stop at the chat room part (not exactly porn website chat rooms, but I was chatting with other women on FB and heavily involved with the adult groups on there). Praise God, he stopped it before it got worse, and now I'm walking in victory over it, though it still is a battle, as the old man still has his desires. It's funny how you mention the old vs the new man, because the 12 week course my Church has every year aimed at sexual sin (porn, sexual lust, Adultery, all of it) is called " N.E.W. Man" N.E.W. stands for "Now Engaged in Warfare". Which is what it is, it's a war everyday with this sin.

This is a good teaching, but you kept saying, "Watching TOO MUCH Pornography" ANY of that mess is to be avoided, not even a little, especially for those addicted to it, God Always provides a way to escape temptation, we just have to be looking for it and not take the low road.

What if the husband or wife no longer wants to be touched or engaged in sex?

For me, the enemy is telling me not that I must not be saved because I keep watching porn or lusting for women, the enemy tells me that I HAVE NEVER TRUSTED in Jesus for salvation, which is why I keep falling into the sin. Therefore, I am having a hard time convincing myself that I can even believe that Jesus has saved me because you are saved BY FAITH. I don't know what to do.

If you have judged someone in a hypocritical way for a sin you do as well before you ever heard the gospel can you still trust in Christ alone for example if before I heard the gospel I judged someone for breaking a vow would I then have to keep that vow to be saved? I’m sorry if this is a silly question.

The way you overcome sin is by hating it. (Psalms 97:10) Pornography is despicable - you are looking at someone else's daughter being defiled. It is an abomination.

I can’t even watch the whole video, because it’s simply to painful. From the introduction I know where you are going pastor. Where basically every preacher is going… that Jesus is enough for me… Situation: 45y old guy. Saved for two years. Last time had a woman in my bedroom during the Bush-Administration…. If there would be any other way to quench this fire inside me I happily would… I would give my left leg for a godly woman that I could trust… Is Jesus enough? Well, according to Jesus/God.. no Adam walked with God for himself and the Lord said it’s not good for men to be alone! So it’s a bit of a problem in those modern times to find a woman in the first place. Finding a godly woman is multiple times harder (especially outside US) and one you can trust… it’s mission impossible… So if there would be any other way to have any sort of „legal“ fulfilling of this urge, this fire… I would happily know it.. Most pastors are married for a long time and can’t even relate. God bless

I'd like to know if Porn use and other forms of sexual immorality are cause for divorce. I've heard various answers. One saying Only Penetration is adultery. Another says even rape of a child isn't Adultery. Mostly I hear that Matt 5 and 19 define fornication and cause for divorce as anything sexually immoral. (I fully understand you don't HAVE to divorce and shouldn't be hasty). I am not married but need to have a Strong Biblical Understanding of this for several reasons.

There is no getting away from the flesh with the new man stuff. The flesh serves a purpose, it’s like a heavy vest designed to make us stronger. To be your best you need God and godly people. You can’t do it by yourself, you are part of a body. We all need help in areas where we are weak. Jesus didn’t just say “feed the sheep” He said to tend to the sheep. Tending the sheep is a hands on job. If the sheep is stuck on it’s back are you going to say “You are a new creation in Christ Jesus, now roll over and get up!”? When the sheep wonder off are you going to go after them?

What is the danger of watching pornography?

I am worried I’m going to hell. The reason being, I have a girlfriend. We’re not married. I done sexual actions with two other women, and have not told my girlfriend. I wish to some day tell her, but for the sake of my worry, let’s say hypothetically I never told her. I’ve admitted these sins to god, but not admitted them to her. She believes I’m a virgin as she is. If I were to never bring myself to tell her, and we got married and had children, and I got to my death bed having never told her the truth. Will I go to hell? Because I’m living in active sin in the sense that, I’m lying constantly by not telling her. If I never tell her and therefore am permanently sinning by being in a continuous state of lying, would it then end up being the case before god, that I hadn’t truly repented? I believe Jesus died for my sins, but in 1 John 3:6 it says ‘No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.’ Am I saved? Or am I going to hell? I too also struggle with pornography.

I think using worldly learned practical advice to stop is better to any person. Instead of mixing it with biblical moral wording, or phrasing. What leads to much confusion for myself and took a while was the simple Q&A's of.. Q: If I masturbate to porn, will I end up in hell as a believer? Answer: No, you are saved. Through and through. Jesus paid your fine for that, by believing on him for what he will do after you leave this world. Q: Why should I stop masturbating? Answer: Because realistically, it will mess you up when you do finally enter a relationship with a real person. Your dopamine centers in your brain won't fire with excitement. Because you've numbed yourself to the real act, by witnessing many kinds with many people. BUT, if you feel like doing it. No ones going to stop you, just know you won't be as happy as you would be. Had you waited to have gone into the world and met the right person who would want to share that back with you. I only stopped in the beginning because of someone like Ray Comfort who back-loaded the gospel of "Repent of your sins" doctrine. But when I realized and learned this was false. I was flooded with peace of mind. Yeah, it happens from time to time now & then. But I definitely don't beat myself up over it. Because I know Jesus has me! I think its realistic to make claims as a Christian to others. It's going to happen at some point. We've all done it at least once. We are not Jesus, but we believe in Jesus & that he forgives us of all sins, big & small. If you do it, don't shadow box yourself over it, forgive it and move forwards. Just practice making a habit to move off the porn into imagination, and once you get tired of that. You will grow tired of it, and it will lead you to meet someone. Or return to your spouse to share it. I'm thankful for your ministry Jesse for keeping it real with the true Gospel & the written word.
