PORT ISAAC CORNWALL | Tour of the seaside holiday fishing village of Port Isaac, also known as Port Wenn in the Doc Martin TV show that was filmed here, and famous for it's Fisherman's Friends movie filming locations (and the real Fisherman's Friends actually live and sing here!)

Port Isaac is another awesome village town in Cornwall that i enjoy seeing and i used to watch Doc Martin every weeknight on PBS here in Oklahoma right after Last of the Summer Wine and i like the seaside community here with it's local shops, pubs and eateries as well as the thin streets of Isaac this was another awesome place to do a walk around in and it is very beautiful here thanks again and until next time Thank You very much.🇬🇧🤠🇬🇧

We love it there, didn't watch doc Martin when it was being filmed and missed a filming day as cast had covid, only just watched whole 10 series on itv3, it's so beautiful

Some friends and I stayed for a week in Port Isaac the year before they started filming Doc Martin. My husband and I have visited a few times since then and we once stayed in The Old School House hotel. It's a beautiful place. The walk from the car park is a killer though!

I'm watching from Poland and yes, I'm a big fan of the Doc Martin series. One day I hope to be able to go to Cornwall and see the place and other villages and cities there. Which cottage would I chose to stay in? No idea, they all look amazing! Probably one with a view over the bay.

You missed Temple Bar - known to visitors as Squeeze Belly Alley. It's about 18 inches wide. And you also missed a fire insurance plaque near the roofline of a cottage on Dolphin Street. It was formerly a pub. Sadly now the holiday cottages are very expensive. My cost to stay in a three bed cottage was £450 a week in 2019. In 2022 the same cottage was double that! Same cottage now is £1100. All the same week in May. I'm priced out! 😆

@@GimbalWalkTV They are silly prices now. We have stayed in three different properties over the years (one of them twice) but I am not sure we will stay in the village again - much as we love it - as it is too expensive now in peak season. (We are restricted to school holidays.)
