Horror of horrors, a plastic purgatory a hundred times worse than Santa Monica beach, California. "Sea front attractions"?

Such a lovely video of Holiday time in Holmfirth!! Iconic treasures for sure! I know all things most likely come to an end, but what a shame! There’ll never be another more loved sitcom. Ever. 🥺 Along with everyone else, 🇺🇸 loves Last Of the Summer Wine.

I lived in Harrogate from 1969 to 1974 and just loved it. Although I shoudn't be, I am gobsmacked at the changes. I hardly recognized the city/town. My fondest memories are of the people I met and socialized with during that time. At 83 I doubt I'll get back but thanks for thi video, a living Memory.

Lived in manchester all my life, worked here in the centre for many years. Its changed a lot , very few shops i remember , mostly changed. The surprise is the amount of litter and rubbish left about, also where all all the people, much busier when worked there.

Just watched the Newquay video after I watched Porth. What lovely colours in those rocks and it looks amazing down there. We spent a lot of time camping down there when the lads were younger now in 30s. The main street from the harbour hasn't changed too much. The ones thing it made me think about was an amazing cake shop ba k then called Paulines Pantry and having googled it found its now Paulines creamery and the cakes still look amazing . Did you go in there? Some lovely memories once again x

Many years ago I decided to walk from St Ives back to Torbay by first following the North Cornwall coastline and footpath, which is up and down steps in and out of coves. Got to St Agnes on my first day totally knackered next day I walked to Newquay and caught the train home.

Thanks for the memories, we will have been married 52 years this coming September and spent our honeymoon touring the West Country. We had lunch at the Old Malthouse and wandered round the village which doesn’t seem to have changed much. We even have a photo of the Old Post Office.
