In the English version when she says "oh, it's you" When she says 'you' you can hear her lose the robot voice for a split second and all you hear is a VERY angry woman.

I am Russian and in the game a bug with russians langadges: Sometimes it happens that the previous lines are repeated for example 12:24 Glados said "but first you need to settle one little thing" and repeated "after you killed me"

Просто переустановите, у меня купленная версия из Steam, и такого нет. Но у меня это было на диске 2012 года, поэтому да... Это уже давно исправили.

In the Russian version, Wheatley is one time better, because he is voiced by the same actor as Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3. And Vaas is fucking awesome and we can't repeat it... In some places even better than the original

As a French person I think GLaDOS’s French voice actor did an *amazing* job, not only in this scene but in basically every line GLaDOS says. I honestly don’t know if I prefer her English voice or French voice!

Yeah, GlaDOS is amazing in french but through the whole game I found Wheatley to be the best voice acting of the game. I also found Cave Johnson to be amazing, noticably better than the english one. Yeah to me Portal 2 is basically a monument of french VA

@@gabilegameur Actually the man who voiced Cave Johnson (also known as Paul Borne) also voiced Caesar in Fallout New Vegas, Rais in Dying Light and Karl in Sniper Elite 4. He also voiced in many movies, Paul even voiced Thanos in Avengers. He's a very good man.

What I like the most is that this is the only dubbing role her voice actress, Scarlett Perdereau, did in her entire career. You can only hear her voice in Portal 1 & 2 as if GLaDOS was a real person with a unique voice and not a character interpreted by a VA (I don't know if you see what I mean). I'm really greatful that she has accepted to take the role of GLaDOS again and that Hifi-Génie/Valve did call her

What I find odd about the French dub, though, is that GLaDOS refers to the protagonist as «vous», which is the respectful, polite second person pronoun. If she hates Chelle so much, shouldn’t she use “tu” to express contempt towards her?

Как раз на английском сразу ощущается буря эмоций на том конце провода. Причем ощущается с первой же фразы: - "Ah, it's _YOU",_ где только по одному слову становится понятно всё даже тем, кто не играл в первую часть (как я в своё время). При этом оно реально "прорывается" через вроде как отстраненные интонации. Актриса сыграла просто гениально.

@@gamesindifferentlanguages7845 wheatly sounds like a idiot: while in the other languages he sounds professional and know what he is doing, because he speak that slow and understandable, the German voice is very fast and bad to understood. So you know from the beginning, that he will make a lot of trouble. And Glados sounds to less mean in the other languages, in my opinion. And also because I understand most from the dialog because my mother language is German... P.S. The Spanish and French Wheatley sounds also pretty nice.

Тональность, которая как-то не везде хорошо чувствуется. Да, соглашусь с тем, что часть шуток съедена, а голос Глаши средний (но всё ещё достаточно хороший), но в целом русский дубляж хороший

No, he said B (pronounced “veh”, which is the third letter in the Russian alphabet, after A and Б (pronounced “beh”), which translates the original perfectly well

i find it kinda sad that in the german version GladOS adresses you as 'Du' (casual, impolite form of you) rather than 'Sie' (formal, polite form of you) like she did in Portal 1. The contrast between the formal, respectful and polite way she adresses you and the absolute savage comments she makes about you is really charming to me. Using the polite form she sounds so wonderfully passive agressive and salty, whereas with the impolite form she just comes off as rude.

Well, I think that the relationship between GladOS and Chell became a lot more personal going from Portal 1 to Portal 2, that could be seen as a reason to go from 'Sie' to 'Du' EDIT: This explanation only applies to the german version it seems.

I like the sound of the German GLaDOS, but even though it's my native language, I just can't play any game in German. Imo there is no game I played until now that did a good job translating the script to German. Listening to the German voicelines just makes me cringe.
