I understand the hesitation from Mr. Malle that this perfume could almost be too sublime for real life. One wonders whether one is the woman the scent projects, whether one can be… this perfume changed my nose forever, and makes me want to rise to the occasion. She dares you to meet her where she is.

I don't usually like florals but after experiencing some perfumes in the Malle collection, I realize I had no idea how florals should be used in perfumes for men. Geranium Pour Monsieur absolutely melted me.... and my girlfriend. To any guys who doubt that florals can work for you, try some perfumes from this collection. They know how to use florals.

My holy grail fragrance. If i could only wear one fragrance for the rest of my life, this would be it.

It remimds me of Noir De Noir by Tom Dord but so much better. I just try it today and i can’t stop thinking about it. Gonna invest in it soon.

I have a 2015 batch of portrait of a lady and its incredible, just 1 spray fills the room, i believe its classed as a vintage batch its 83% , wonderful, i only habe around 30ml left but it will last me years coz i only need 1 spray of it 😀 i love frederic malle

Two Weeks Ago I Was Doing Research For New Colognes To Buy And I Just Found Out About Frederic Malle. ( Yes I Have My Favorites I Always Buy ) Many Thanks To Other KZfaqrs Talking About These Colognes With Lots Of Positive Videos About The Brand. So I Figured I'll Acquired The Essential Collection As I'm Curious For New Scents To Try Out And Wow...., I Was Blown Away With Monsieur As It's A More Dominant Scent. I Did Buy The Full Bottle A Week Later. Musc Ravageur Was My 2ND Favorite From The Six Samples. Yesterday Was Shopping And Saw And Picked Up A 10ml Tester Of Portrait Of A Lady As Stated Lots Of Positive Feedback, I Absolutely Love It. I Will Pick Up A Full Bottle In The Spring, Also Try More Samples I Haven't Tried Yet In The Near Future. I Recommend Trying Samples And You'll Be Surprized At The Quality Of The Scents As There's So Much Going On. Merci Frederic Malle !

I have this fragrance, once u spray on your skin this fragrance smells rose, cumin, patchouli, a little bit of blackcurrant scents and it will stays tingling on your skin for about 5 hours if 2 spray. luxurious scent and head turner fragrance.

I bought the 3.5 bottle, I love it. But so many people have said it has become watered down through reformulation and is weaker in the Turkish rose note, projection, and longevity. Wish I could have smelled it before they changed the formula, but I do like smell of the version I have. I was interested in Musc Ravageur too, but seems they changed formula for that one also, and it is weaker in every area too. From my experience it seems 2 or 3 sprays is good and will last the day, but 5 sprays is definitely too much 😂 but I heard original formula you only needed one spray, so you can see that clearly there is a difference in the quality now.

I own Portrait of a lady, now I wanna buy another Frederic Malle perfume, I don’t know which one to buy between promise and musc ravageur.

I have been told by another perfumer this has no real rose is this true otherwise saying 400 roses in a bottle is misleading and false advertising to consumers its been said its very clever manipulation of aroma chemicals . I have been wanting to buy this but hesitant to do so as I respect the other perfumers views too .
