Don't know if it has been brought up before, but could you maybe do a video in the future breaking down the business aspect of a shoot like this? How you go about pricing (charging/paying), getting your team together, renting equipment or sets, etc. I think it would be great to get your perspective on it especially since you're in NY. Thank you for your time.

I believe this was an editorial for an online magazine, so you get zero to little pay. It's more to get your name out there for brands to hire you as a photographer for their ads. Ads for brands is where you get the money from.

You absolutely do not need a medium format camera to get started, this is like the rolls royce of cameras. A full frame frame Canon R series for about 5000 is like a decked out suv, I personally have started with a Canon M6 Mark II for 1000. Small and does everything i need and can use both EF and EF-M lenses. Also theres always used. Speaking of everything, the hasselblad is absolutely killer at pictures, but is practically useless at taking video.

If you want a cheap medium format camera, buy Pentacon Six TL. But complete CLA must be done.

It’s revered as the greatest and most extraordinary camera in the world. Out of every camera in existence, it was selected to be the first camera to go into space for the Apollo program and moon landing. It is the camera that went to the moon. Any yahoo can buy $1000 smartphone or Canon or Nikon (and has), but most photographers fantasize about even holding a Hasselblad, let alone owning one.
