After a long wait, we’re finally allowed to drop skydivers again! I had the pleasure to fly the first jumpers up since the outbreak of Corona, and although we had to follow stricter regulations, we made it work!
It was also the first time that skydivers and gliders actively used the same airfield for a full day since the late 90’s. I’m honored to be a part of both these worlds, and glad to share such a special day with you.

Jealousy overkill Bambi!!! Reminds me of my good days of Skydiver dropping :) The plane I fly now is a little bigger, but the fun factor has decreased with the size of the plane ;) We should definitely meet up in Holland for a video collaboration! What ya think?

November Kilo does the banking have any performance advantage to the aircraft?

@@pulkitgaindhar4949 I think it is the opposite. It increases drag, enabling a faster descent. That means she can get on the ground and pick up the next jumper more quickly.

Pulkit Gaindhar banking keeps a positive load on the plane while doing a quick descent so you don’t over stress the plane with negative G’s

It’s a commercial maneuver to loose altitude. I’d prefer to beat the skydivers to the ground but swoopers get there fast.

@@howtimflies204 At our field they have a turbo prop dropping plane. The pilots get down fast. Sometimes when there is no traffic with tandem and wingsuit jumpers they manage to get down faster, from I think 12000 feet.

When I used to skydive it was always great to get a thumbs up from the jump master - so it must be awesome to get a wave from the pilot. Also I had absolutely no idea light planes are able to use strong thermal lift like gliders!! You learn something new every day.

I think that giving the skydivers a big wave makes each one feel special and that's a great customer service move. They are your customers, but they provide you with the opportunity to do what you love. Well done.

Good show. I used to tow gliders in a C182 and give rides in a Grob 103. Cessnas are good utility planes.

Great content! I recently took 10 skydivers flying Antonov-2. We don't have that restriction of one skydiver to be on board. Anyway it is great to see you flying again! You are awesome👍

I saw the video live stream that Mentour Pilot did with you as a guest. Then I watched several of your videos. I was very impressed listening to you on the radio and watching your pre-flight checks of the planes. It's hard to believe you've only been flying for a relatively short time. I can honestly say that I would be very comfortable flying with you any time. I look forward to more videos.

I'm a former skydiver, a glider pilot and a dropping pilot. When I heared your: "Found a very powerfull thermal here, whoohoo!" i had to laugh. Everytime when i go in to thermals my jumpers wanna kill me... But thermals are a little dangerous, last year I was climbing in our dropping plane under a line of cumulus and had a close call with a glider. Flarm beganns to scream and he was in front of me. That wasn't fun... Nice loop on the door! I have to slip (with flaps 20) like an idiot to reach the the door and get it closed... Groetens van Beieren naar de Nederlands!

Great clips. A joy to watch them because the really show how fantastic flying can be. I hope that these videos will make people enthusiastic about recreational flying and General Aviation at all. "To fly is the single greatest thing in the world." ~ Me. Ah, I miss jumping so much. I learned at the coolest club- IVPC, Illinois Valley Parachute Club in Minier, Il. Got my D license and had so many good times and did some crazy fun things. As a club, nobody had to make a living so at the time, if you had your own gear, the standard altitude was 7500' for a whopping $4 a jump. If the manifest wasn't backed up you could pay $2 extra to go to 9500'. Even though we have a '63 182, to break even, two was a load so if you could get a pilot and another jumper, the plane was yours to pack and jump until anybody else showed up. When I moved down here to GA, I wanted to form my own jump club and call it the GVPC and base it on my old club's bylaws. Maybe there is still time...Cheers

Yes awesome 👍 Skydiving have been also Island " Texel " jumbing but quit 1988 continue helicopters in US - 1990 for 1/2 jear inkl. Student Visa. Love 🥰 Skydiving from Pilatus Porter in 14 minit about 12.000 feet, also jump from A - Star heli. Take care 💖 have fun.

Too much fun! I’m going to jump one of these days soon. I need to experience it as a glider Pilot! May need to actually use my parachute some day (but hopefully not!).
