Post Shower Hair Routine - Air Dry Then Do This

There are times when your hair is nasty and it demands a wash and you know the full blow dry routine is completely out of the question. Your only option is to leave it wet and come back to it later. In this scenario there are a few techniques that will keep your hair looking great while it’s air drying and post air dry.

mrogeliopp I was just about to leave a message saying the same thing. They need a curly haired rep on the regular. There are issues with post shower, conditioning, maintenance, brushing and or de-tangling that are unique to curly hair types that I never see represented here. My hair is past shoulder length and curly af.

Dunno if this is helpful, but I have wavy hair, and I braid it after I shower, then remove the braid after it dries a bit. After a couple minutes my hair turns pin-straight, like El Rubios hair in the vid.

I need advice on getting the right shampoo and conditioner because when I wash my hair and condition it every 3 days, it always seems to dry it out so bad that running my fingers through it becomes difficult due to how dry it is.

Hello, I have a question about something that's been bothering me with my hair. Before, I want to say I really appreciate your videos and have been subscribed for over a year now. My question deals with hair thinning. Details: I'm 25, used to be heavy, now I'm fit and gaining muscle. Hair used to be very thick and lush, ever since I lost the weight (before bulking) my hair has gotten a lot thinner. My father's hair didn't begin thinning until his 50s and it's the same for his 5 brothers, so it's not genes. I cut lots of sugars and carbs out of my diet (~80% reduction). Could you do a video on diet for healthy hair? What can I do to thicken my hair back up?

Yo longhairs. Do you guys ever use heat protection product on your hair during blowdrys? My hair is so long now that I have to blowdry at least a bit so that I'm not waiting hours for it to fully dry. Not seeing or feeling any damage, but I've heard it recommended! Also, loving the headwraps. Get those out stat!

If you blow dry to finish, you will damage your hair. If you apply some gentle heat to take out some of the early moisture, you'll be better off. Naturally, finish with the cold setting. If you're going to fully blow dry, you're going to need a heat protectant. While damp, you can work in the very oil that El Rubio is using. It will be super helpful. Most of the time, I don't actually shampoo my hair. I just use conditioner as a shampoo. On those days, I detangle and then spread in a bit of Argan Oil to keep it smooth. Sometimes, I apply heat to speed up drying. The days that I actually shampoo are for when I'm going to treat my hair with either tea, gelatin, or rice water. On those days, I work in generous amounts of Project Sukuroi into my wet hair and fully blow dry. I do this around 1x/week. Hoping to get that to be even less. With the above process, that I started about a month ago, I've seen a dramatic decrease in the amount of split ends I get. Good luck!
