My favorite video of the year. Partly because of the helpful information, mostly because of the hilarious cameraman and popup commentary. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Thank you.

Probably the best straight to the point clip that has helped me. Years of severe ankle injuries finally caught up to me. Now I I know how to better explain my issue but the added camera noises make this real!

I was diagnosed with ankle impingement. However, I've had oral medication prescribed and two injections recently that have not helped. I also have been doing these exercises plus orthotics. The pain has gotten a lot worse with these treatments and Extra rest meaning I stay off my feet when I dont have to go out. My specialist has not ordered an MRI even though I think I need one since its been over 6 -7 months. I'm a very athletic adult that have been tolerating the pain but its to the point where my foot is numb and difficult to ambulate at times.

yeah man, im an mma fighter and had this issue for 3 years on and off when i roll my ankle from soccer. i suggest you use the bandage tape and a ankle brace at all times (especially when sleeping) do some exercises. diet and water and super limit junk as well as living and thinking a healthy and positive lifestyle. i also have aankle pad you can buy online to heat and massage at the same time. it helps alot. i jump doge move alot bc mma fighters have too.

I’ve been struggling this for the past year. At one point I could barely walk. I have been doing a ton of different excercises but the one that helped me the most is strengthening the muscles involved with dorsiflexion. I put a 10lb kettlebell on my foot and then I dorsiflex for 3 seconds 20 reps 4 sets each foot. It takes quite of bit of time but it is the only thing that has helped me tremendously. You feel a good burn on the front side of the calf if you are doing it right. The secondary exercise I do is I hold a dumbbell (10-15lbs…you can even do it without weight to start) and do single leg calf raises. I do 6-8 reps 3-4 sets. I make sure that when I come down I let my ankle fully relax (like you are stretching your calf)…But if it is painful DON’t do that one. Only when you start to feel better do that one. I still feel the pain there every now and then but i feel miles better than I did before. I really struggled with this and could barely play soccer. Now I am back playing freely without having to worry about jamming my ankle into the ground. The posterior ankle impingement is an extremely frustrating injury that feels like it will never go away. Stay positive and KEEP DOING THE REHAB! I hope this helps!
