It's home games like this that kill me. I thought home games were supposed to give players more energy. They were not great on defense.

Tatum era Celtics have had a massive mentality problem. They've lost so many series that they should be winning. Must be maddening to Celtics fans as a neutral observer

Apart from last year's conference finals? Which other series they should have won? The finals? When the warriors had the best player, and the Celtics were led by a 24 year old?

@gonzalixmc 2018 they had homecourt over Cleveland, 2019 okay they were underdogs, 2020 they were favorites over Miami, 2021 they shoulda beat the Brooklyn, 2022 that series was close and they had a 2-1 lead and 2023 obviously massive favorites and lost to 8th seed

In terms of mentality and effort, we’re spoiled from the IT era. They always came out hungry but Tatum era Celtics is exactly what you’re describing. Maddening.

The 08 celtics that won the finals lost 9 games and had two 7 game series and two six game series. This team is held to a standard that is basically impossible to live up to.

Seriously. I can't understand how anybody likes Tatum. His body language goes from not engaged to desinterested to zombie... That's all he has.

One of Cav's best defenders, Jarrett Allen has not yet played. He could be back for game 3, big troubles if he is.

I'm praying that this is #Mazzulla strategy to keep his cards close to his chest and study the other teams adjustments! However, at the least display heart get over 100 points at home!

You Talk like the Cleveland Cavaliers haven't been a more successful Franchise than the Boston Celtics in the Last 20 Years of Basketball, THAT IS A FACT.

Even in the last 20 years they still just have one championship each 😂 dumbest comment I’ve read all season.

Man why if you’re losing by the beginning of the 4th quarter you sit Tatum. Look at Knicks without some key players out and they put in their soul on court.

I am gonna go out on a limb and say if Deuce is attending these games, that child should be left at home. I suspect Tatum is tempering his emotions as he doesn't want his son to see excessive emotion from his dad; especially anger or frustration. How else to explain Tatum's 'flat' response to adversity (failure)?
