My best field's average CEC is 7.5, PH 6.6, Phosphorus 43.3 ppm, Potassium 116.1 ppm and it's Base Saturation %K averages 4.27 %. If I were to leave everything the same except move the base saturation %K to 6%, what kind of yield enhancement would I get? And how many pounds of Potash per acre would that take?

Thanks for your question! Brian and Darren answered it on today's Ag PhD Radio. You can listen to what they had to say here soundcloud.com/agphd/11-28-17-pigweed-control#t=57:34.

Here is the rest of the field's average numbers on this fall's soil test. Organic Matter 2.4% Phosphorus 43 Potassium 116 Magnesium 121 Calcium 1062 PH 6.6 CEC 7.5 Sulfur 7.8 Zinc 1.9 Manganese 35.5 Iron 30.0 Copper 1.0 Boron .32 Cation Saturation is %K 4.27 %Mg 13.5 % Ca 70.9 %H 11.27 %Na 0 The field is pattern tiled and has been ripped twice fall of 2015 being the last time. 2 year average for beans is 73 and 2 year average for corn is 225. What do I need to do to take this field to the next level?

4:00 hey Luigi, don't interrupt Mario when he is talking, it is considered bad manners.
