I'm so excited, a little bit nervous. I would only be mildly interested in a colour original, definitely more interested in a colour connection, but I hope most that it will be a black and white screen connection release. Colour devices are more pricey and between the digivice colour and the wave 2 pendulum colours my wallet is already crying lol

If it's a color screen device I'm afraid they're gonna make a bunch of extra stuff that you can pay more for to download like on the uni, which I don't really want. my dream would be a v3 but we'll see

Part of me wants Tamagotchi Connection rumors to be true, because I never got to experience one. On the other hand, if they do remake Connections, then I feel like my dream of them remaking other vintage era tamas like the Angel, Devil, Ocean, and Garden is dead, because I can't see them circling back to something they intentionally skipped. Also, I hope we do get colored Tamagotchi originals. If only so we can finally have a new, modern version where the snack feature isn't bugged. I just hope it's not a mostly faithful remake like the 2017/2022 Tamagotchi originals and instead has a little new content and QOL features like the Digimon Colors.

I’ve been eagerly waiting to see what you had to say about this announcement! I’m so excited I’ve held off on buying any connections on eBay until the release to see if I can actually get a new connection in 2024 that’s less than $100 bucks 😮 and perhaps in color of all things ?!!! Plus seeing old tamas in color would be so inspiring !! Let’s hope for Hanatchi and Wooltchi !

I was hoping you would make a video talking about this! I think we are probably getting a back lit V3 rerelease. Would be cool to get normal black and white too, but either way im excited!

Original "collection" might be a combination of versions like v1-3. Since its a collection. Plus i dont think connection would be used again if its a complete reboot 🤔 since connecting isnt a specific feature for this his new version coming out like it was for the original v1-5. Mix, meets,ps uni etc all connecting features now

I want to believe it’s a connection, but I’m like 50/50 😅😢 part of me believe it’s gonna be the P1 and P2 in color, seeing how Tamagotchi Uni is barely starting off with there Tama Vers Just waiting on fashion Island and San Rio. it be weird if they come out with a connection where you can connect to a website or app. when the Uni kinda has a similar vibe to it. Tho on the connect u can have Job which I love ,but I hope I’m wrong. a re-release would be amazing =)

I don't want to be a pessimist, but I think that the Original Color Tamagotchis might be P1/P2s released in the colors or colors close to the original release colors for those models.

12:41 got a good chuckle out of me bc honesty same 😂 I am ✨ manifesting ✨ a tamagotchi connection re-release! I'm with you, I hope they keep it simple. One of the things that most contributes to Tamagotchi's retro aesthetic is that black and white screen. It's easy on the eyes and the wallet. In a world full of intensely bright and distracting screens, it's a very pleasant contrast. I also hope they skip straight to the V3, because that's where they start to get mechanically interesting. It would also be cool to have a mix of American and Japanese mechanics and games, or even some kind of way to toggle between the two. Or at the very least compatibility between the two to link up. I doubt that happens, but I can hope!!

Since I’ve had the color screen tamagotchis I can’t go back to no color 😂 FYI I grew up on the original 90s tamagotchis before the connection came out, but it’s so hard to see the damn screen without the color My 30 year old eyes need the color and backlit screen 🤣

If it’s a color p1 or p2 I’m going to be pissed too. I just booted up my old p2 and it was the most boring run… the og tamas in my opinion don’t warrant a color version.
