Thanks, Allie, for the well done visual and vocal explanation of how to bezel a rivoli--the more I watch and listen, the better I understand the process, then I gather a few supplies and try it for myself.

Thank you for the brilliant tutorial, definitely going to have a go and maybe build up around the bezel with different beads.

I have never done this with alternating colors that is a neet look. Using the different colors made it so much easer to see what you were doing. Thank you.💕

thanks, very useful way to bezel with two delica colors, beautiful at the end and easier during cos we must only look at the color of previous row, if we would make more rows than usual❤️

Appreciate the Tutorial Allie, Just wish you would have added in that sometimes the rivoli can be cut a littler larger and that you have to adjust the amount of delicas that are used in the beginning of the design...because I ran across this problem and to a new beader, it makes you not want to try this out because the initial 36 delicas are not enough to make bezel work, you have to add 38 or 40 to accommodate the enlarged rivoli.. really makes a difference, especially if there are embellishments to be added to the design...

Karen thanks so much for adding that helpful information! You are correct. Sometimes the stone size can vary slightly by manufacturer. If anyone is struggling, this as also helpful www.potomacbeads.com/blog/potomacbeads-blog-1/post/the-ultimate-delica-bezel-directory-136

Thank you so much for mentioning this! It was my first time attempting to bezel a Rivoli, following this tutorial. I did everything that I thought was to a "T" and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I thought my tension was too tight, but then I'd see the thread. lol. Good to know!!

Thank you so for this helpful tutorial. I've seen many tutorials to bezel rivoli stones, and you made this one straight forward and easy to follow. Would you consider doing a tutorial to bezel a small rectangular stone?

Thanks for the clear example, Allie! Really needed this! I seem to always have my rivaling want to pop out. I have had to add to my bezels, using patterns I’ve learned in some of Potomac ‘ s other patterns. I would rather not have to do this. What am I doing wrong? I pull tight. Too tight?

Can you explain how to determine how many beads you will need for different sized Rivolis?
@Potomacbeadco3 ай бұрын
If you are going to do a peyote bezel it is best to start with an even number of seed beads or Delicas. String the (even number) amount of beads necessary that will fit around the rivoli comfortably. Here is a good start for most rivolis: 26 for a 10mm, 32 for a 12mm, 36 for a 14mm, and 46 for an 18mm.
