How on earth did you know my name is Colin? Some people think that you have to take the pump off to do this, well you don't. Great video, took me about ten minutes to complete the job, and saved at least £50 call out! The new part cost eleven odd pounds plus the dreaded VAT. Really not worth trying to service the old one! wouldnt recomend shutting the valaves of on older boilers as they can start to leak and will then need replaced heating engineer hear

try bleeding the new pump of air if the pump is hot
