Those things you use in the joints are awesome, but yeah the liners are so sweet. U need to buy a set, plus the have Cantilever all in 1 piece liners. I use them all the time just spray Bubble gum rel on it when the truck pulls up and re apply if it's hot as we pour(very important)

I have been. I guess time will tell if it works. The fiberglass isn't malleable like steel. But I hope it can handle some up and down movement. Which shouldn't happen since my subgrade is prepped well.

We either work with family (my wife, my father). Or we screen potential sub contractors. We make sure they are individually insured and have a tax i.d number. After we make sure they are good. We pay them a per job rate. Usually between 300$-450$ per job per person (usually 3-4 hours per job). It's expensive but it protects our customers from liability and we can call 1 or 10 if we need to for a small or large pour. We have over a dozen guys cleared on our list for this. It's hard finding them. But after a while you build up a list.

Nice to know. I have a small business here in Georgia where it's mainly myself, my brother, and my father but bring in help on pours as well. I will say most guys here don't carry insurance. Here labor rate is $250-$300 for an 8 hr day per finisher/form setter. @@jmconcretecoloradosprings

For sure, hope you as well. Yeah, tell me about it I was dying on a 9 yd. patio pour using a buggy. I had concrete scheduled for 9 AM but concrete company called me in the morning on my way to the job that they were running 3 hrs behind and had to pour straight in the bare sun, 90° day. @@zuma404 Yeah when you don't get the first orders of the day. Companies can fall behind. But 3 hours!?!?!? Damn, right now we are changing suppliers and we can only pour at 10am. When we usually pour at 7. It's not a huge problem for the concrete. But I currently flip off the sun atleast twice a day.

@@majoralpha1015 it was 10 yards. Good eye! It's actually pricey for our area. But we need to charge more because too many folks want to work with us. Supply and demand.

They sub out the work so that makes it's more expensive.

@@jsfields00 The pump and finishers are subbed out. And we only pour once a week usually so having permanent finishers isn't cost effective. Everything else is us. I charged 14k. People who hired us and subbed the concrete part to us billed 19k.
