Living the same dream since I was 17 and bought my first truck out of high school,I'm 61 now and wouldn't have chosen any other way, you will doubt sometimes but you never loose the luster,ps haters? I learned a long time ago the moment you put the truck in gear we are hated because of slowing the yuppies down,you do this for YOU,ps,don't listen to truckers bitch cause they haven't changed since late 70s when I started,they just bitch cause they want to lay on the couch and drink beer,it is what you make it,and I've made it this long with zero accidents and minimum tickets,I don't care for much content on KZfaq,but you remind me of,well me...F the haters and keep the great attitude,and I still wave to other truckers,JD

Should consider getting some LED work light mounted on the back of your sleeper so you can have light shooting to your trailer and work area, but I dont know how you would do that and still have a super clean sleeper. If you had a headache rack it would all come together pretty good. Look up carlile trucks or most trucks in Alaska. Everyone has those xvision led pod lights mounted to their sleeper or headache rack and it really helps working behind the truck and backing up in low light situations

I was in Millersville Pa. In fog and I couldn’t see the hood of the truck, thankfully it didn’t last long, it’s scary, buy the time I would see an exit it was too late to get off and hide out until it let up

I know that first stop is a rough one. It is getting out of his facility is rough as well ecpsecially if they have equipment in there. You should have seen it before the widened that drive way. It was rough in a day cab with a 40' trailer.

Oh yeah,you have the same tranny and truck as I,of course your's is nicer ,mine is 03,not giving lessons but for me I learned a long time ago instead of adjusting my clutch over and over I start out empty and loaded in the lowest gear and barely accelerate then quickly split to the high 3 and shift as you would, that's my habit that saved slot of adjustments,keep up the good work and attitude,ps I'm from the Jersey Shore so you learn to relax,JD
