I'd love to see a video of bold eye looks under glasses. I get so tired of people doing before and after glam looks where the glasses are removed. Some of us don't wear contacts for whatever reason, and I'd love to see a great look that either doesn't disappear behind frames or look heavy.

YESSSS. I have a few pairs of really bold glasses and oof is it difficult to work with those. I also ended up getting a pair of clear framed glasses and that makes bold eye makeup way easier!

I am rewatching all Mels vids , its like it took until now to sink in that she will never upload another video again.I think first i was mainly shocked and in disbelief, now the sadness starts to fully kick in. I keep thinking about her husband and children who have to live on without her now and hope that it helps them financially a little bit. RIP dear Mel.

Same!! Almost all powders look horrendous on my undereyes and I had stopped putting powder under my eyes but then obviously my concealer would crease. Then I discovered the Pat McGrath undereye powder and omg it looks so good!! I use a tiny amount and it doesn’t look dry or crepey like other powders do and it’s also very blurring on the pores. It does have cornstarch in it but that doesn’t bother me. The Hourglass powder looks ok on my undereyes if I use just a little bit and apply it with a damp sponge but it’s nowhere near as good as the Pat McGrath. Hope this helps!!

I am 42 and just started using powder. When I was a teen, there didn’t seem to be many powders around and they all seemed to look so dry. I bought CT flawless finish and was amazed at how airbrushed I looked. Now am hooked.

I am obsessed with powders! My all time fave, holy grail is the Original Chanel poudre libre in translucent 1, but I can use shade #2 as well. I also love the Fenty powder, the Pretty Vulgar setting powder, the Milani one, Beauty Bakerie flour powder, wet n wild one, Jstar, Huda, Col•lab powder I mean I have quite a few I love but these are the main ones. Thanks for doing this video Mel! 💜💜💜

My dry undereyes really appreciated this video thank you! A lot of people say "well just don't set then" but in the humid south the moisture in the air will break down my makeup if it's not set

I loved the CT pressed powder until recently. As I get older it looks so dang dry no matter how much I skin prep 🙁 but I sure love the hourglass powder AND the Jaclyn Hill loose powders to buff. I definitely think it’s similar. I have both. It’s beautiful under the eyes. Hope that helps. The No 7 just doesn’t have any coverage. Unlike the Charlotte Tilbury which does. 🤟🏻💕 I have a video coming up this week on Underrated Makeup in which I talk about both No 7 pressed powders.

I just want something to set my concealer in place without it making me look like the cryptkeeper lol. I do really like the no 7 lift and luminate serum concealer. I resisted for a long time the Sisley irisee after hearing you rave about it. I trusted you and always wanted the power but couldn't stomach the price tag. I finally caved in and GIRL you were not exaggerating!! It's crazy good😍

One powder that is really good for oily skins is MAC Blot. Loose, it comes only in the Medium shade, but the pressed comes in several shades. Every time I use it to set my makeup, it lasts so much more. The Laura Mercier was super heavy on me, good thing I got the sample size to try it. I love the Hourglass Veil powder to buff with, but after I set my foundation with plenty of MAC Blot!

I would love to see a full face Video about dupes or affordable makeup where products are under 20$ or drugstore makeup that you would recommend. I don’t know if anyone else fights with this, but I struggle with lipstick, lip liners, bleeding color, patchy, etc. My lips never look good 20 min after I put lipstick on. WTF am I doing wrong?

After I apply my lip liner and lipstick, I am been taking a tiny brush and going around the perimeter of my lips with the urban decay the fix powder. It cleans up the edges and then also can help keep the lip area from being too moisturized and the lipstick from moving 😻

My Mac mineralise is my fav to set my face so natural and sets so nice! Other then that I use coverfx and Inglot for a more full cov matte finish. I just got a new Mac one Cosi just ran out again

I love using the urban decay velvetizer as a under eye setting powder although it’s a powder mixing medium I like using it under my eyes it’s just so gorgeous!!!

I am late on watching this video. Thank you for this video. It is much needed. I hate most powders. I am dry and I am sensitive to smells. Most people don’t mention the smell of products. Thank you for this. I can get migraines from intense fragrance. I wish companies would remove fragrance.

I'm dry/dehydrated and I find the Hourglass a bit too dry under my eyes. I love Rouge Bunny Rouge loose powders, other powder products as well, but the loose powders... magical

Oh god -thank you. I’m old AF and starting to have trouble with my undereyes. (Luckily I have oily skin so I look 20 years younger than I am but my undereyes are starting to out me). BTW-Is the #1 Sisley the lightest shade? Online #3 looks lightest. I’m a freaking ghost and definitely need the shade closest to paper.

OIly skin is such a blessing!!! I used to hate it in my teens and 20s, but now that I'm 50, I don't have wrinkles. And that, to me, is a lot better than what my dry friends have! But yeah, why are the undereyes so problematic as we age?

V R I also HATED my oily skin until my mom (dry skin) pointed out that my paternal grandmother’s oily skin is the reason she looked 50 when she was 85. I’m 46 and have been carded. Seriously. Thank god for hair dye! Damn greys. It was bad in my 20s though. I was seriously skinny and looked 14. I was 26 and had just earned my PhD and thought I was so “grownup”. I got a job and went furniture shopping. At the door they were having a giveaway so I stopped to enter. They stopped me and said I had to be 18. Ego deflated. That same week I went to lunch with my mentor & his female associate. We ordered wine and the waiter said “I need to see your daughters ID”. I wanted to slide under the table in embarrassment. Now I just get “you are not old enough to have a 17 year old?” 😁

@@YuckyMama Yeah, my mom is a very youthful 75, and my grandma, who lived to be 100, had the skin of a 70-year old! I am glad I got their skin.

Yasss I neeeed this! I have only one loose powder I like as a setting powder because it sooo finely milled, but it is pink 😕 The Dew you from Too Faced. Getting my notebook now 🏃♀️ I think I am going for the Charlotte Tilbury loose powder, I was maybe going for the pressed one but I think the loose will be better under my eyes because I am quit dry and textured there

Super helpful! I have dry skin and find that setting my under eyes and t zone with Diffused Light or By Terry’s Hyaluronic. The Sisley Blur sure sounds tempting:)) Thanks, chickadee🍃🌸
