Yea I don’t have 10 either so I guess there’s wiggle room for 20/20! But I had passed some palettes on and de-potted to consolidate. But I can see now what I lean towards and what’s missing.

It says something about how much you really do love a palette, when you have so many eyeshadow palettes and still hit pan on some of them. I love to see that Mel. There are way too many channels out there that just move from new to new. And you never see a "favorite" palette again.

I felt like an excited child when I saw this post! I almost yelled out loud! I got more excited when I saw that you chose a couple of palettes that I own! Girl...no judgement here! I totally feel you on the eyeshadow palette situation. I probably own about 150 pallets at the moment and I love all of them! Lipstick too. I would probably have a holy coronary if i counted all my lipsticks😂😂😂

I declutter regularly, so I have only around 30 palettes at the moment (not counting singles or duos, I have quite a few of them too), but I feel you. I am trying to be cut throat, if I don´t use something often enough, I pass it along, but sometimes after a while I miss it and buy it again!

Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage, Aspyn Ovard , Huda Beauty’s Nude , Natasha Denona Metropolis , Pat McGrath Mothership 5, TF Suspicion or Body Heat, Viseart Cool or Warm Mattes... I need more coffee.... 😂 can’t finish! I adore my eyeshadow palettes too!! My favorite aspect to makeup! I love the same tones warm or cool with pops of the opposite... I LOVE my Sultry!!!

The Mario palette was the first like higher end type palette that I purchased and my first ABH palette. It was so hard to find it had been sold out everywhere and somehow Macy’s had it on sale.

I love that sultry palette. I have many abh palette and other brands and colors, but that one always comes out beautiful sophisticated and never disappoints. Should be a permanent. I missed out on the Mario one because I was not into KZfaq at that time but everyone shows it and I would love to have it.

I made a video just like this sometime in the spring and it was HARD! When you’re an eyeshadow palette lover narrowing it down to just 10 is such a challenge. I also did “if I could only keep 10 lip products” and that was quite possibly even worse 😂. I’m going to guess you’re definitely going to keep at least one Pat McGrath palette!

Urban Decay's Born To Run, Dose of Colors Friendcation, ABH's Soft Glam and Sultry, Milani's Soft & Sultry are some of my favs. (I can't afford higher-end palettes, so I can't speak to those.)

I love love love the ABH Mario palette too. I use it only for very special occasions because it's so special. I wish she'd bring it back because I think I could use it every day, it's so beautiful and I think, better quality than some of the other 12 pan palettes she does.

Whenever I hear Tarte’s Aspyn Ovard palette mentioned my little heart does a little💔. Dammit, I knew I should have picked it up earlier! So, you have an extra, yea😏?? I despise limited editions, lol. Your Tarte Osprey is like my Irban Decay Gwen Stefani palette. I just love it for quick simple neutral looks. The Tarte and Natasha D formulas just don’t stick to me, but The others rock on me. Love the ABH, TF, CT, PMcG palettes!

Re: the Tarte palette- the 3CE Mood palettes.. I think there are three and of course I’m spacing the exact one- but it’s also lighter toned, and ‘basic’ but every color is perfect to shape up an eye look.. it might help you de-stress the Asypn Ovard!

Over 400? Well I feel better with my probably-75 now😄 My husband says "aren't you running out of colors yet?" Obviously he doesn't understand textures, formulas, etc. Should I declutter? Probably (again). But when I dig through the palettes, I rediscover gems I forgot about. I say no pressure to declutter: do YOU, Mel! If you still find so much joy in your huge collection, keep them! Plus we count on you for reviews😘

I only guessed the Metropolis palette...I didn't even think of quads or Kevyn Aucoin! I pictured you grabbing your TV sized Sydney Grace magnetic palette and throwing all the Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, and Tom Ford on top and booking it for the door!!! Mothership V and Metropolis are hands down my favorite pallettes. I might buy backups. Even though I knew Metropolis was your favorite I thought for sure Biba would be on your list as well.

I just watched an old video of yours reviewing the MJ Steeleto palette and at the end you out up a pic of that Kevin Aucoin palette ☺️. It’s beautiful. I just bought the Steeleto palette at TJ Max for $20! LOVE IT.

I guessed (though I didn't know what order, of course) Aspyn Ovard, Metropolis, Mothership V, Cocoa Mirage, Pillow Talk and then I wasn't sure whether you'd do sultry or Jackie Aina, but I was hoping for sultry bevause I love it and I know your love for cool tones. So I didn't do too bad! ❤️

I cannot be without my ABH Sultry or my PM Mothership V. Definitely in my top 10 that I would keep along with my ND Metropolis. I’m not a warm tone lover like most. Cool tones suit me more. 👍🏾

Mel, when you said that you have 400+ eyeshadow palettes I was freaking out like 😱 lol. I have 48 eye shadow palettes and I’m thinking of decluttering a number of those. I wouldn’t even know what to do with 400+ palettes, I’d be so overwhelmed.

I’m just getting started. I have always just used my MAC shadows. Recently I have bought urban decay born to run, tarts toasted, too faced extra spicy, Jackie Ania palette and Pats mothership palette. I find it easier to use a palette rather than have to pull out all of the different MAC shadows it’s just to much and especially too much to travel with

I’m a senior in high school which means I’ll be heading off to college in the fall so I’ve been watching a bunch of palette declutters to help me get rid of mine. In the fall semester, I gave away about 150 palettes and now I have 40ish I think, but it still is probably too much to bring to my dorm

Ooo, tough! All but a couple that I don't have...cough cough, Mario & Aspen...please come back! Totally agree w/ you. You enjoy the shadows I love, so I always check w/ you B4 I purchase. ;) I think I would switch out the TF for the Surratt beyond beige for myself. Fun, Thanks!

Yes top ten colorful. I got two right. Bronze seduction has just recently come to my house and I understand the love of the pink shade. You’re amazing.
