Hi Andras, you are correct. I just created a test dashboard containing a toggle button and the toggle does not switch when clicked. My personal take on Dashboards vs. Reports in Power BI is that Dashboards are visuals only and the real functionality is seen in Reports. That's the feeling I get when I interact which each type of object in the Power Bi service.

Yes, one the ellipses (...) menu you can specify which object the bookmark applies to (all vs. selected) so it doesn't change your slicers.

Hi there Muneer, you only have to hold the CTRL key down in the Power BI Desktop app while in development. Once you publish the report to the Power BI Service, the button works like any other button using left-click.

Hi Jose, I just pinned a live page to a dashboard and it appears that the bookmarking feature does not work on dashboards. So that an unhappy face :-( from me. There is an Idea out on the Power BI community site for this item. Hi Aparajith, it sounds like you need to use the features found in the "Bookmarks Pane" which allow you to choose how a bookmark is updated and modified in relation to other objects on the report. Hi Aparajith, I had the same problem and I fixed it by setting a super long time frame for the relative slicer when editing the bookmark for the Relative OFF... let said the last 100 years. Hope it helps.

By doing that, your relative filter state would show too many months for data which is not desirable because in my case, that is the default view of the page when the report loads. It has to be defaulted to last 13 months at load time (Relative ON) and then let the user toggle to RelativeOFF state if he wishes.

Nope. None of the replies or the videos helped me. I had to remove the toggle functionality and just go with one relative filter.

It is a custom made button image (it is not actually a button). Some search for any toggle image online and chose two (on/off) that you like.

You'll need to place each button in the desired state and then save it as a bookmark.

Hi Mohammed, for multiple tabs, you can use the drill through feature to allow users to drill through to more than one report tab (or chart). Hi Mohammed, here's the best answer I can give on that error... the message is simply a warning about the way that Power BI Desktop is connecting to your data source. For me, I'm connecting from my local PC to an on-premise server that is not accesbile from the Internet. So the warning is not a big deal. When I publish my report to the Power BI service, it uses the Enterprise Gateway, which is secure. The only issue I can see is if you are connecting to a data source that is on a public cloud platform. In that case, the credentials could potentially be seen by others when switching to a non-encrypted connection. I hope that makes sense.
